I like my doctor and he seems like he is trying to get to the root of the problem but he seems just as unsure as I am. Initial tests show there is a problem follow up test show there is nothing wrong. He has told me " I don't know where to start" and " you are a conundrum" (a.k.a you are a puzzle or I don't know) Is he over his head? Would trying a different doctor get better answers ?

I took my blood pressure at Walmart today because the last few times I been in the doctors office, I was told it was high.

I took it once when I first walked into the store and it was 155/104 and a heart rate of 90bpm. I also took it again after I was done shopping and walking at a fast pace around the store and it was 152/104 and a heart rate of 109 bpm. Is that high? The chart at the store said it was but my parents say it's normal. I'm 27 /female and of average weight.

I went into the doctors and the nurse tried to take my blood pressure and she said "I did not hear that" so she tried again and evidently still did not hear it, after that she was like "well I know you have a blood pressure" so I asked her if it would help if I rolled up my sleeves and she said "no I think I know whats going on" she checked my pulse and then once again checked my blood pressure and the cuff squeezed my arm so tight, that my hand fell asleep. I guess then she got something but I'm still left wondering what was going on there.

I'v fallin into a deep depression,everything around me is going wrong and I'm trying to stay positive but it's so hard to when everything is so negitive.It's getting so bad it's starting to affect my sleep.

I know I should prolly go talk to a therapist because I'm on theverge of a nervous breakdown,I just need to know if there is anything they would be able to do for me since I'm pregnant.

When did strangers start to notice your pregnant? Prepregnancy I was very skinny person, so all of my friends and family can tell I'm pregnant but I'm not sure if strangers notice. I do find that people seem to be more courteous but I'v not had anyone come up and ask me my due date yet.(not that I'm complaining)

BTW...I'm 22 weeks.

There are countless movies & t.v. shows out there, that deal with teen pregnany! Some that come to mind are "Juno" “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” "Star and Cole on OLTL" and lets not forget "Jamie Lynn Spears".

Sure these shows may be entertaining to watch but what are saying to young impressionable teens? These shows most often glance over the real hard ships that teen parents face, and seem to always wrap it up in a nice pretty little bow. Telling young girls that it's "in" to be a teenage mother.

So...what are your thoughts? Do you think the media is glorifying teen pregnancy?

My computer disc tray is jammed, and I can't get it to close. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
