My husband and I visit my parents when we can. They live 7 hours away. We ask permission before we we come, out of respect for them. However, whenver my parents come to visit us, they NEVER warn or ask us. They expect for us to drop everything and tend to their needs/wants. I am honestlly fed up with it. They are my parents yes, but they also have plenty of time to ask or let us know they are coming, so that we can arrange things. I feel like they are being controlling and completely disrespectful. Is this an unreasonable request?

My husband and I want ppl to remove shoes or wear slippers upon coming into our home. A lot of it is yes to keep a clean home but also bc we do not wear our shoes and do not want to step into someone elses dirt, glass or whatever they bring into our home. I do not feel that this I'd an unreasonable request and have even told them that I would buy them their own slippers but they still do not want to come over. I feel that they are being selfish and trying to make their own rules and our home. This is the only thing that we have asked and I am not trying to be disrespectful but it is our home not I had to abide by their rules as a child so y can't they be respectful of the home and the one thing we have asked just bc they r not use to

They also hate it because I enjoy wearing cute tops that show a little clevage. My husband likes it and does not complain. I am just irritated with them and want to know what I should say bc I am a grown married woman who lives miles away w/her husband ...and hate them still trying to tell me how I should look. It is find if they said it and it is over but it keeps coming up. I mean I could be on drugs and sleeping around but I finished graduate school and we are doing well and wonder y they cannnot focus on the good....please...advice!

I have a german shepherd mixed 35 pounds and we just moved from an apartment to a house. This is his 3rd move and the first time he has ever misbehaved. We have always crated him and he was perfectly fine. Now he pees all in his crate and lies in it. We have to clean it every day because it stinks up the house. We have lived in the new house (3 floors) for about 6 wks now and we have 2 other animals ( a dog and a cat) who are very well adjusted. We keep him on the bottom floor bc he messes up the carpet.The only option I can think of is to put him outdoors bc we do not want the house to smell up like pee. Any suggestions?? Please...

My husband's sister wants us to do bad and I don't understand why anyone would want their family member to do bad? They just had a baby they cannot afford at 30 years old and are in alot of debt. I am finishing up my graduate degree this year and my husband got a good job after he finished his. We are doing ok despite the economy but I feel bad for my husband bc his older sister would be elated if we started doing horrible or divorced?? Or if we were to suddenly become fat and fugly. Do you know how someone especially a family member could be that way?? I care deeply for my family and I don't understand how ppl are this way towards others. We all have a choice to make our lives good or bad..thoughts please

i just got a new little puppy who i am potty training. sometimes he goes to the bathroom on the floor and i am in the process on training him. The only problem is I also have another dog who WAS potty trained very well...until I brought home the new puppy. My question is why is my 1st dog that was very potty trained pooping on the floor?? any suggestions

i always thought late since it is over 25 and closer to 30...or is it opinion. some ppl say it's the other way. what do u think??

and u were only 26. it happens to me sometimes n ppl think i am 29 or 30. i know it's not that big of an age difference..should i be concerned?? Do u feel that it is a big enough view in appearance that a person should do something about it??

take it out on their spouse when they have treated u like trash in the past, present or whatever...i do. sometimes out of the blue i get mad thinking about the things they have done n take it out on my spouse for not standing up for me at the time...i may be wrong but i just wanted to know if anyone else feels this way n if there is a way to fix it

everyday we can get hundreds of compliments but the one or two ppl who insult us will be remembered more....does anybody know what i am talking about?? how do u get over that??

for example i was at the store and this lady commented that i look like a kid when i was with my husband. it's like...how do ppl just assume that u r not the age that they suggest u look??? i also see other ppl doing it to other ppl...it's like ppl don't really know and assume. what are your thoughts?

someone said that to me the other day and i was like...i think i have a while until 30 and as far as i am concerned 26 is still mid-twenties right?? Not to mention looks are a very different between 26 and 30 right??

karate, martial arts, etc. i went to la boxing today and a guy who was the trainer told me bc i am very small that at my size i should just get a gun. i was highly offended and it hurt my feelings. yes i am small but i still think it would benefit me to learn something...please advise
