  • Why do gas prices suddenly jump way up in Missouri?

In MO, gas prices jump up 15-20 cents/gallon overnight. Then, they will either stay the same or fall (usually 2-3 cents/gallon/day) over the next week or two, then they suddenly jump up 15-20 cents/gallon again and the cycle repeats. I find this very strange. In VA, where Im from, prices could rise or fall by a few cents on any given day. Gas prices rarely change by 15-20 cents in just one day, usually its 5, maybe 10 cents in one day and no more). Whats up with that?

  • How do I add another hard drive to my computer's system restore function?

My computer has a small SSD that automatically backs up due to Windows 7's system restore function (it creates a save point). However, most of my stuff is on my D: drive, and I would like the computer to start creating save points through system restore so that, if I need to, I can automatically restore the stuff on my D: drive from an earlier state. How do I do this? Also, not sure if it matters, but my C: does not create restore points as often as it should. Its supposed to do it every time upon start up, but I've noticed it only does it when Windows updates or something like that. So I want to create REAL daily restore points, not pseudo-daily ones like the computer has been creating.

  • Can you avoid a change fee by showing up at the airport early and asking to be put on an earlier flight?

I paid about $250 for a plane ticket. My flight leaves around 6PM and arrives around 9PM, which means that when I get to my destination, I really wont be able to do anything that day. I'd prefer to leave earlier on the same day, get there earlier, and have some time to do some stuff at my destination before things shut down for the day. I called American Airlines, but they wanted $150 to change my ticket, which is ridiculous. So I was wondering, if I showed up on the day of my flight and asked if I could change to an earlier flight, would the people at the airport be able to make that happen without charging the $150 change fee?

  • How can I housetrain my dog?

I have a puppy. He's 5 months old now, and I've had him for 3 weeks. I have been trying to housetrain him the whole time I have had him, but he's not making any progress. I take him on several walks a day, but I dont think he understands why we are going for a walk. If he does go while outside, I praise him and give h im a dog treat, and if he goes inside I tell him no and that its bad. Also, when he's inside, he will go when he gets excited. So if you just approach him, he goes. I've had limited success getting him to go outside by getting him excited while outside, but Im not sure he even knows he's peeing when he gets excited. Any ideas on what I can do? I have to leave him home alone while Im at work, but on weekends I typically spend 3 hours a day outside with him just waiting him out until he goes. Other than that though, he generally does not go while outside.

  • How do I get NES emulator on my iPhone without losing apps?

I want to get a NES emulator on my iphone, but I dont want to lose all the apps I already have. My understanding is that jailbreaking would cause me to lose my apps, or at least prevent me from getting new ones from the itunes store. Any idea how to do this and not only keep what I have now but also be able to get more apps from the store in the future?
