I go to this repair shop, they charge me $950 to replace a MAF sensor. Two weeks later my car starts doing the same thing so I take it to the dealership they tell me that a MAF sensor is only $280 when this shop charged me $800. Also when the dealership did the diagnostics, the MAF sensor code came up, so the part didn't even work. The thing is, the day before the dealership was gonna repair it my car got totaled. If I took the shop to small claims, would I get my $800 back?

The receipt given to me by the shop only had this:

Parts: MAF sensor -$800

Labor: $110

Shop fees: $25

Tax: $50

There was nothing else on the receipt

The crash was a hit and run and only did rear end damage, and this was after I had determined the part did not work. I have the part but they won't give me my money back for it. Can I take them to court for the $800?

I was hired at a hardware store, my manager told me she would be calling me about coming in for orientation. She told me not to panic if she didnt call me back that same week, & she also told me not to call, that she was going on vacation. That was three weeks ago though and I'm not sure if I should call or just wait.. How long do I wait?

I applied for a university my senior year in high school and was accepted, I even paid the deposit for the dorm. In July I changed my mind about the school and paid to cancel everything. I'm doing a year at a local community college now and want to transfer to that university that I got accepted to last year.. Do I have to fill out another application or can I call and speak to someone and skip that application process?

so about a month ago, i did something REALLLY stupid. i had about 4k tweets on my twitter acount and i decided i wanted to start over. i didnt want to delete my account though because i wanted my original twitter ID # so i used different websites to try and delete all 4k tweets, since twitter only allows you to view/delete the last 200. i was able to delete most of them.. i had 1200 left and i couldnt figure out how to delete anymore. but i settled for it. before i decided to leave it alone at 1200 i used one more website that said it would delete my tweets every two weeks. the site also said that i could stop it at any time. i forgot what the website was and now all my tweets get deleted every two weeks lol... so im back at 1200 every 14 days.. has anyone ever heard of that website? if so what is it? how do i stop it? if you havent heard of it.. does anyone know what i can do to stop this every 2 weeks thing?

I want to get lips (lipstick mark/kiss) tattooed on my hip.. Right above the line where my jeans usually go up to (I wear mostly low rise jeans) and I just want to know if this tattoo will stretch really badly to the point that it will look way different and ugly if/when I get pregnant. When I first got the iPhone 3GS I turned the "show preview" option off so that my messages couldn't be read as soon as they came in. I want that option back but I don't know how to do it. I've seen lots of videos and I've read lots of forums and I still cannot figure it out. It's not under settings > messages and it's not under pass code lock either.. It's a '96 Nissan maxima, it has 70,000 miles on it because they changed the engine, they wanted $2200 at first but the owner broke the muffler one day while trying to get out of the driveway, soooo they lowered the asking price to $1600. Before the muffler broke it ran great, no other issue.. And they're selling it because they originally bought it for their daughter but she left to NY and the car was left behind.

I'm thinking about buying it.. Because I need a car to commute to and from school everyday- I'm a college student.. Anyone think this is not a good deal?
