She might have scratched her fur off, but the skin doesn t look irritated, and I don t think she s scratched herself much more than usual, so then her fur is falling out, why would it do that?

She s a Havanese, so she s not a big shedder.

It's an about three years old, 13" Samsung. It still runs, but it's definitely slowed down.

Australia is a big, harsh, dangerous country. For many of the imported species it s vastly different to home, and yet so many of them (rabbits, cane toads, water buffaloes, etc.) are doing well enough to be a menace and environmental threat. How come? It s not like there s nothing there that would mind killing and eating them.

Side request: I remember seeing one a long while back that was set in various specified stables around the world, including Spain, Iceland (I think, looked like Icelandic ponies), and Egypt(/UAE?). I'd really like to find it again if it rings a bell with anyone, as something the Egyptian trainer said really stuck with me (that many horses hadn't learned to watch their feet), and I remember several amazing scenes from movie as a whole.

I remember a long while back watching a documentary in which a horse trainer scoffed that most horses raised in a flat paddock hadn't learned to watch their step and that was the only reason they ever stepped wrong and broke their legs, and a horse raised in varied terrain would know to keep an eye on where it stepped.

That made quite an impression on me (and I'd like to see it again if it rings a bell with anyone).

The question is actually just the above. If you came to a field that was flat and open, but for all you knew was full of rabbit holes and old roots, would you trust your horse to see them as you came upon them and not have an accident?

It's all right if it's wrapped up in fiction or if there is no such thing as an example in it, just so long as it's well-written and I come out the other side knowing more.

It can be on a specific breed, so long as I can get something general from it, too.

It shouldn't be all about riding, but it's fine if that's in there, too.

I've been surfing the sites of a fair few studs (for info, lovely pictures, etc,), and they all make a lot out of their stallions, and just sort of off-handedly mention that their mares aren't bad either. I've also read something like that in horse novels.

I'll be heading off to Australia on vacation, with the extra thought that I might want to move there, and I thought that I might like to get an idea of what houses actually are like in the areas I'm interested in.

Seeing as I won't be making the move any time soon, I won't really be a possible buyer for any of the houses.

Is this kind of thing okay to do? I don't think it's much different from people who are just "browsing" with the thought of maybe moving to a bigger house when they know that, realistically, now wouldn't be a good time to make the move (if they even want to) or just checking out the general area, and I genuinely believe that I will make the move... eventually, and it's a good kind of info for me to have.

If there are any real estate agents reading this: how would you feel knowing you'd showed someone around who was doing this?

P.S. If you're thinking about telling me I should be wary that I might not get to make the move: thank you for your concern, it's very much appreciated but misplaced. My education is on the skilled occupations list, my credit is good, I'm still young and healthy, squeaky clean criminal record, I'm from a country that has global approval, and my English is fairly good (if my grades are any indication), so as far as I know, I'd pretty much get waved through. Once all the paperwork is done and fees paid and all that. So no more trouble than anyone else. Still, thank you for the kindly meant thought. =)

I bought a used 3DS XL, the A Link Between Worlds limited edition, and it has the previous owner's ID on it. I don't want to tamper with his account, which wouldn't happen with a reset, but I don't know if the game would be deleted if I did a reset, and I don't have the original case if I needed some number to download it.

I'm really on the fence about buying a Wii U, but I've got a few GC games I'm not quite willing to let go off. One of them is pure obstinacy (Twilight Princess, I don't want to see everything mirrored), one pure nostalgia (Pokémon Channel) and one is because I'm pretty sure this is the only form it's playable in (Baten Kaitos).

I don't really have the space for an extra console around my telly, so...

They've already made an adapter for GC controllers, so do you think there's any chance they'll just make a fully GC compatible Wii U or will I have to cramp the space further?

Does it just taste good (arguably) or does it do something to keep their teeth healthy that a good feed, the occasional natural chew treat (like dried ears, bully sticks, bones, etc.) and a toothbrush with just water on can't do?

An all-year cap, that is. For different climates, if you can, please.

Long term, which is best to take? I want to study a spell abroad (aiming for Australia) and maybe even move there. Native Dane, excellent spoken and written English (based on grades and teachers' feedback).

I am predisposed to IELTS because I'll be talking to a person and not a computer and they ask for the money in Danish currency rather than USD (and I actually know what it's short for), but would like to know if anyone can offer input one way or another.

Today I woke up to find that my house trained, nearly three-year-old Havanese had pooped on the floor.

The reason why I say "excessive" is because she was out for an evening walk, she's been able to hold it longer in the past, and she usually doesn't poop more than once or twice in a day. She's also become a bit lethargic and I haven't really seen her eat, but I don't think much of the latter, as her appetite fluctuates frequently and she's always been a good sleeper (and we've had no issue on the walks, she plays with our four month old puppy).

I honestly don't know what could be causing it, and it's possible it's a late behavioural response, but if there's a chance it could be something medical...

She has all her shots in order.

I read a blog on Border Collies some time ago, and it was mentioned that they're workaholics and one of the jobs you could give them was bus duty, i.e. taking the kids to the bus stop (or all the way to school) in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon to make sure they got there safe. And I was wondering how you'd go about teaching your dog to do that? I don't have either yet, but I know I'd like it if I could have my dog follow the kids to school and pick them up, and I haven't been able to find any guides on it.

I realize this is very late in the generation to ask this, which is why it's the best time, but I was thinking of buying one of these, as a lot of games that sound interesting have passed me by for being a Wii/3DS owner. The basic question is, which would you recommend?

I like (J)RPGs, not shooters, and puzzle/adventure ("Legend of Zelda", "Tales of ---", "Okami", "Muramasa: The Demon Blade" to name a few.) Which has more games like this?

Are either of them backwards compatible?

Which did you experience as the most playable?
