I have three wonderful little men! 8,5, and 4. They keep me pretty on my toes. I don't get mad about alot of things.. I don't see the point. I bake when I'm angry, don't knock it until you have tried it! :) I live in a TINY town where everybody knows everybody...which I love believe it or not. There isn't really much to tell about me and I could go on about my kids forever so we'll keep this short and end it here! :)

9 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWhose your child's influence?
Today as I drove my 8 1/2 year old to the local Alco, I allowed him to pick the CD we listened to. He picked Billy Joel. As the first song started he look to me and said "he totally rocks". I realized at this minute that Billy Joel was obviously not the "cool" "in" artist of todays time. I began to wonder if it is my influence that lead him to believe Billy Joel rocks. This is a HUGE responsibilty, especially as he grows increasingly more observerant. So, I ask you... whose your child's biggest influence? The School? His peers? His Sibblings? His Parents?... Or is this all irrelevant, and simply boil down to how much Billy Joel really does "totally rock"?
4 AnswersParenting1 decade agoI know breast feeding is best but its not the only way... whats the deal??
Our generation has really stressed breast feeding and I agree it is very important and a wonderful wonderful way. But some moms have trouble some babies have trouble. Is it really such an issue that we would make Moms who have trouble feel bad because they can't? There are 1000 reason why a woman would have trouble breast feeding. When that same child is older child is older will you lecture mothers about hotdogs, or potato chips? Isn't a childs healthy food intake still important when they get bigger? Though I breast fed it was a personal choice and personally I don't see why we make other mommies feel like failures if they can't do it. Help me understand!
