2.A rubber duck in a swimming pool is attached to a rope, which goes through a pulley at the edge of the pool. If the pulley is 1 ft above the surface of the water and the rope is pulled at 1 ft per second how fast is the duck moving when it is 8 ft from the edge of the pool, that is 8 ft horizontoally along the water.

I have a word file which needs different headers at different section. Each time I try to start the page number from page 5, it ends up starting automatically on page number 4, I have 4 section in the beginning. First 2 pages are section 1, 3rd and 4th is section 2 and i want to start the numbering from section 3, but its always starting from page 4. Could anyone help please its urgent.

I got a Cq 62 presario laptop, and been using it for 3 years almost. The laptop had a tendency to heat, so i tried to clean the fans. It would require me to open the laptop completly to reach the fan, i just opened the upper layer and try to clean it.

Then something stupid struck me, I thought cut the vents down there shud allow me to access it. ( i am a n00b at laptops, Pcs hardware im familliar with), so when i cut 2 of these lil vents, i noticed some copper on them, which basically meant im screwed. So what I want to ask is that, are they connected to the fan ? Cz when i googled the fan, i saw no cooper treads like that on it. Or is it another accesory I need.

I have been playing guitar for more than 3 years now, I Pretty much play fingerstyle, I ve been trying to learn some flamenco struming. Breaking each stroke one by one, I just cannot seem to get the rythm at high speed sound as it should, any advice ?

y = x^3

dy/dx = 3x^2

so the x^2 on top cancels and it gives me 1/3(1+y^2) ?

the limits are 1/2 and 0 and the answer is (3)^1/2 / 8 + pi /12
