I have crushed nerves in my head after an accident. The hat pushes right onto the nerves and makes it hurt so bad that i throw up from pain. Once the nerve blockers kick in, im good for a month but the pain still comes back. My doctor doesnt want me to wear the hat and will give ne a note only when work says which hats i can wear, and he will pick the best one for me. My boss has given me permission, but HR says no until they get a higher up answer since im dealing with food. When I had the accident, i was allowed to wear their plain black cap. Someone else I work with wears the cap every day, some of the bosses wear the black cap or no cap at all. Why is HR giving me this problem? I really dont think i can last one more day with the regular hat. im having a panic attack from just thinking about working tomorrow.

Is leasing your horse out to a nonprofit therapeutic center tax deductible? I've leased my horse out all year to 2 therapeutic programs that are nonprofit 50c or whatever its called. We did a feed lease where I just payed for farrier and any medical and they used her full time. If this is tax deductible, what can I claim?

I found a car at a dealership listed as new but it has 410 miles on it. My father called to day and the dealer said that the car was sold once for 1 or 2 days idk, maybe more, but the deal fell threw. I always thought that if a car was ever sold before, it was considered used even if they did bring it back the next day. Did they use it as a rental or what? What made them bring it back? Money or a mechanical problem..........ugh

I live in CA and I host in a restaurant right next to the bar that is inside/outside. Some nights I work to 2am or 11pm. Last night it got to 41F and tonight it is going to get to 37F.

I have to wear a thin short sleeve shirt and thin pants. I asked the manager before if we were allowed to wear long sleeve underneath and he said no. The bartender gets to wear a company jacket but no one else gets to. Last night I told my manager that it was too cold and he just laughed and walked away. It was really sooo cold that you can see the "white smoke" coming from your mouth when you talk and breath and my car literally had ice on the windshield.

What can I do about this? If I get a flue from working next to the outside is that workmans comp? If I do get sick and have to go to the doctors and they say I can't work, I get in trouble (i would get fired because its a black out wee) because I have been working 5 months and after the 6th month you get PTO which they take medical leave from.

If I walk 5 from my stand I am basically outside.

i full lease my horse out to a therapy ranch. the second to last time i was at the ranch, i was with one of the autistic volunteers, a friend of mine, having fun at the table on our lunch break. All off a sudden she gets up, goes into a room and calls the other volunteers with her.

after lunch break i always go home. The last time I came out with my BF who I got to volunteer because I wanted him to learn about horses. He has been out there several times and was also friends with the same volunteer.

She pulled my BF aside and told them that I had hit her the last time I was out there. When I heard this, I was ANGRY!!! She then went on to tell him that she would make a better GF for him right in front of me! I kept away from her and only stayed close to my BF. They had my horse, that I lease, to get her ready for a lesson and she kept saying how she LOVED my horse and trying to make me jealous which that part didn't work because if I didn't want people to enjoy my horse, I wouldn't have leased her out. Later on she told my bf to leave so that she could talk to me. She said that you're not supposed to hit people and I told her I never hit her. She repeated herself louder and so did I. We did this about 3 time and she said that one of her friends had already reported me to the head person in charge. At that time my BF and I left and the head lady never came up to me.

I have been a volunteer at another ranch for 8 years and I told the head lady of that ranch and she was furious! She said get your horse out.

I want to get my horse out now, but what are my options of getting her out? What should I say? How long should I give them?

I'm looking at another ranch and I'm going to go over to them tomorrow and check them out. I don't think I'm ever going to lease my horse again :(

i just moved to CA from AZ and i brought my girl with me and leased her out to a therapy ranch. the lady in charge loves her but it seems like everyone else doesnt. they say that she has horrible ground manners and she needs a ton more training. They all ride english and that my horse has horrible posture.

at this ranch there are 2 side walkers and 1 leader for 90% of the students. My girl knows all the leg cues but most of the riders dont know them and so the cue her to do things and so she gets confused and tries to do them but tries not to but the people there dont realize what the student is doing and so they blame it all on my girl.

when she is used by a student that knows what theyre doing, shes absolutely perfect for them.

they cross tie all the horses and my girl has never been cross tied before and so she moves around a lot. I showed them if you tie her to a post, shes perfectly fine but they wont do it. i told them if they cross tie her for an hour a day that she will be fine and learn it, but they said no because the longest they cross tie a horse is 30 minutes at the max.

they never wash the horses unless they paint the horses for a special lessons and so they just brush the horses. They never brush the mane and tail and i told them they need to because the hair around the tail will create a big knot around the tail which is uncomfortable for her and so when im there i have to undo the knot and she loses a lot of hair from that and she is starting to rub her mane. i brought her with her fly mask which they put on another horse and put her on a 2 hole ear one which i told them not to or she rubs out her forlock, which she did. i kept putting her fly mask on but then the other horse tore it apart.

my horse also started grinding her teeth every time she is out which i dont like and i want to stop, but i dont know how to stop it.

they only use a horse 3 times a day for 30 minute lessons and after that no more so when i do come out to see her i cant ride her because they get mad and say that i will mess up the lessons for that day.

i want to move her and not lease her out anymore but i am scared to tell them. they are a well known ranch and i dont want to upset them and make them think i was using them. ive had her there for about 5 months. ive noticed a change in her attitude. i also want to teach my bf how to ride but they wont allow him. i would like to keep helping out there but i just dont think my horse is good for them. what should i do? its like the only reason they like her is because shes a rare breed.

i was thinking maybe if you add a second belt buckle to each buckle might work, but i wouldnt want it to be in the wrong spot and the metal rub onto the saddle and under the thigh. to add a strip of leather where would i go and what is a cost estimate? i would prefer not to do anything permanent. thanks

is it illegal or my manager to tell me, "why do you hit your head on everything" "why arent you wearing your helmet" "does your helmet not fit in the locker down stairs or do you have to leave it in hr" "why are you so slow" and stuff that makes me sound stupid but i cant remember the exact words. the first time it happened, i said thats not funny, i help out with people like that and the rest of the time i just try to laugh it off. he mostly does it when we're around other workers.

one time i messed up on an order and he got really mad at me. "whats wrong with you" "cant you read" and he does all of this in front of the customers!

i have never hit my head at work. i volunteer at a therapeutic riding center and also lease my horse out to them. i have ocd (i dont show it at work) but im not "diagnosed" with it by a doctor.

i dont even want to work there with him anymore. he does it every day. next month theyre opening another position and that manager already knows i want to transfer so hopefully i get it.

Both of them are the same type and I believe theyre blood jewels but im not too sure. They dont look like the jewel cichlids from petsmart, I had 3 jewels from petsmart and i gave them away. The male has all the spots and the female has very little. They just paired up about 2 weeks ago and layed their first eggs last week not to mention fertilized them!!! im a proud parent that my babies got it right on the first try, but i did not see the eggs before i started cleaning their decorations :'( ,but i believe theyre getting ready to breed again

i dont have the tank space to keep the babies so I will sell most of the babies to a fish store here. Any idea of what kind of store credit I can get for them?

where i buy my fish they are bight bight bight in color but after a week or 2 in my 55 gallon tank theyre just bright bright. ive tried a couple of fish foods, omega one was the best one so far but the fish still arent bright bright bright. i do small water changes weekly, water temp at 78 ph at 7.8, no ammonia no nitrates. could it possible be because the fish at the store are wanting to mate?

3 baby common plecos, will only keep 2 when they get older, i have another tank

1 baby bristle nose pleco

3 peacock cichlids

2 yellow labs

1 snow/albino cichlids, cant remember the exact name

1 red zebra

1 blue lab, looks like a yellow lab except blue

2 demansons cichlid

2 cichlids that look like the dogtooth but are darker

most of my fish are small except for the snow/albino one and one of the peacocks.

i know youre supposed to croud these fish but i dont want to too much.

140 gallon filtration system with water change weekly

40lbs of cichlid sand

2 big decor pieces with lots of hiding places in it + 2 big plastic plants

a heater, cant remember the wattage but it keeps the water at 78D

3 air stones

PH i try to keep at 7.8

they get fed 3 times a day for 30 seconds with a mix of 3 different fish foods.

any opinions or suggestions, please let me know. i also want to get a 100 gallon maybe next year
