  • Medical expenses with billing plan - 2013 taxes?

We had so many hospital bills this year (had a baby and husband had emergency surgery) that we set up a payment plan w the hospital. If we include this amount, our bills are 10% of AGI. Can we claim the total bill or only what we've paid so far on the plan?

  • Narnia - Villain Song - White Witch - Call Back?

I'm called back tomorrow for The White Witch in Narnia - the musical based on The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.

This is a very informal audition with a community theatre and they've asked us to prepare a second song. I'd love to have suggestions of "villianous" songs. I don't know much about the music for the show, so feel free to suggest anything that "sounds" like the Witch.

THANKS! I'm also called back for Mrs. Beaver, so I'm sure I'll have to sing Wouldn't it be Loverly sometime tomorrow :-)

I have a fairly wide range, so I'm open to all suggestions!

  • How much is an autographed football from the original 1966 Atlanta Falcons worth?

It is in a plastic bag inside it's original box. The box has minor wear, but the only thing wrong with the ball is that it is deflated. Included in the box is an original pump and instructions for pumping.

The ball is signed by a number of players on the very first Atlanta Falcons football team from 1966.

Any ideas on how much it could be worth??

  • Why doesn't Coka Cola sell Mr. Pibb in lower Alabama?

My family always travels down to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach in the summer time and we can NEVER find Mr. Pibb (Pibb Extra). THey only have Dr. Pepper. You can't find it in the grocery store or 20oz ones in convenience stores.

I prefer Pibb b/c I think it lasts longer than Dr. Pepper. Like, if you open a can and then put it back in the fridge, it doesn't go flat, but Dr. Pepper does.

  • Attention Caesar Salad Eaters! Dressing?

I've recently been on a "kick" of eating a lot of Caesar salads. I'd like to find a store bought brand that I like as much as those served at restaurants. I tried one store brand and it tasted way to cheesy for my liking.

For reference: I really like the Caesar dressing at Wendy's, Red Lobster, and Texas Road House.

Basically, they're all pretty creamy and don't have too too much parmesan. Any suggestions? I'd especially like answers from those who've tried one of the above.

    Thanks!

  • Bones vs. Crossing Jordan?

In light of the sad reality that "Crossing Jordan" has been taken off the air:

Has anyone else noticed the EXTREME similarities between "Bones" and "Crossing Jordan"? I mean, seriously - they're nearly the same show, except that Jordan deals with corpses and Bones deals with, well...bones. I think Jordan was ALWAYS better and I'm really enjoying the old episodes on A&E, but I wish the fans would've gotten a REAL series finale.

Has anyone else noticed the similarities?

    -Both have a dead mom

-Both have suspicious/criminal at some point dads

-Both ladies go above and beyond to solve the case (which isn't their job)

    -Both have been buried alive

-Both have on again/off again relationships with their cop partner

-Both cop partners are pretty hot :-)

    -Bug&Lily=Hodgens&Angela

Can anyone list any more similarities??

  • Does anyone know where I can buy JUST an extra mat for Pump It Up: Exceed for PS2?

My friends and I would love to play versus, but I can't find any where that sells JUST the mat. I don't want to pay $50 or more for a whole other set with another game disc.

Any ideas? Remember: PS2 NOT Xbox

  • Audition - I know these are asked 24-7, but do you know a good audition song for Children of Eden?

I'm auditioning for Children of Eden next weekend. I just found out about the audition today and I'm not too familiar with the show. I know the music is Stephen Schwartz, but I don't want to use Wicked for the audition b/c it's just too overdone now. I don't think anything from Godspell would work well either.

    I've only got 30 seconds.

I'm a Soprano 2/Alto 1 mostly, but can go higher.

  • Harry Potter - 2 Part Question: Books v. Movies?

    1. What minute detail left out of the movies bugs you the most?

Mine is that no one explains to Harry in HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban who Mooney, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Progs are and that Prongs = a stag = his dad = his potronus (sorry if I spelled that wrong). I think that is really important in his forming his idea of his dad which is kind of busted in the flashback from book 5 with his dad, Snape, Sirius and Lupin.

    2. Do you like to read the books first or see the movies first? I've just began to read the books this summer and am ABSOLUTELY loving them! I'm on book 5 now.

  • What is the best type of post-college/pre-job health insurance?

I just graduated from college and will go off of my parents' health insurance at the end of May. I do not have a job yet, so I'm looking for an independent policy. I am healthy, have no risk factors (smoking/drinking/previous illness), and I'm about to be 22 years old.

Please, only answer if you have personal experience. I don't want random internet searches, I can do those myself.

  • Where can I get the cheapest flight from Atlanta to NYC between Dec. 6th and Christmas?

I'm trying to get my family (3 adults) to NYC to see Kristin Chenoweth in The Apple Tree. We will be on a budget and the cheaper the flight, the better. I've looked at the typical sites: travelocity, expedia, orbitz, airtran website, and delta website. Where to people find these $99 flights they advertise on TV? Are there any secrets to finding cheap flights?

  • What is this Saved By The Bell era TV show?

It had a boy with his best friend that was a robot. I think they lived in a basement. The robot looked a lot like the one Screech has in the early Saved By the Bell years. My roommates and I are going crazy! I can't remember enough about it to look it up on http://www.retrojunk.com!/ HELP!

  • Have You/Will You Enter the "Be Wicked" Singing Contest?

Did you enter the out-of-town competition or are you planning to go to one of the live competitions in NY, NJ, or Chicago?

    What did you/will you sing?

I entered (I'm in the Eastern division) with Popular. I didn't really like any of the sections from the other songs. I was dissappointed the "All to do...with me......!" part of The Wizard and I wasn't an option - I remember seeing everyone sing that part last year.

  • Why can't people keep works of art separate?

I'm an avid Wizard of Oz fan and collector and have been searching through some Oz questions here. Why can't people seem to separate 1). The movie, 2). The L.Frank Baum Books, 3). Wicked the book, and 4). Wicked the Musical? I think they are all works of art and I love all four, but I hate it when people can't seem to separate one from the other. For example, someone asked what the Wicked Witch of the West's name was IN THE BOOK and someone replied Elphaba Thropp! Elphaba is the name Gregory Maguire gave her to honor L. Frank Baum. EL-FA-BA. Or when someone says they can never watch The Wizard of Oz the same way because they read Wicked.

Opinions? I know it's a pet peeve of mine, but I'm curious about what others think.
