This happens every few hours. The screen is darker after the computer comes back on and the computer's speed slows down considerably. I have to turn the computer off manually and restart for it to return to normal performance.

It's on AC power constantly and I have my computer settings set to where it never goes to standby, yet it stands by anyway. I even tried plugging the computer into a different outlet and still had the same result.

I had my laptop at a friend's house and didn't have this problem; he told me the battery isn't the problem like I originally thought. What exactly is wrong?

I know it could possibly happen with enough write-in votes, but how would the presidency work with a fictional character in the Oval Office? Would there be someone else pulling the strings or what? I've wondered about this for some time now.
