My mind wanders, blanks off and on when I'm taking an exam. I keep reading the same question prompt over and over again without understanding. When I'm focused I get it right, when I'm not I miss it. I know the answers, but I just blank out in the middle of reading something. Is there some type of mental exercise or something I can do to improve my ability to maintain focus?

I need some type of software to monitor my internet bandwidth at regular intervals so I can chart it to see when/if/how much slowdowns occur. Is there anything out there that does that?

I have WinXP pro. I hibernate my pc on a regular basis. When resuming form hibernate if I don't log on within several minutes of resuming the pc goes back to hibernation. Is there a way I can stop this behavior? Prevent it from hibernating again after I resumed it?

I have my wireless router upstairs and a bunch of non-wireless devices downstairs. I don't want to have a cable running down the length of the house just so I can connect my devices. I need a wireless switch that has RJ45 ports on it that can wirelessly connect to my Linksys router upstairs so my devices can plug in and have access to the net. I've been looking all over for something like this, but I don't know what they are called and where to look for them (if they even exist). Any info would be appreciated.

I need a specific Ms Word file to open as soon as I insert my USB. The critical criteria of this is that it needs to be able to do this on any windows xp computer, anywhere. So basically I'm looking for a program or a script ON THE USB that is triggered when the device is inserted. I don't want to do any modifications on the computer itself whether it is installing a program, modifying the registry, or setting scripts that run. I would appreciate specific instructions or even if you can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Is there a remedy for nasal cycle? I feel like one nostril at a time is completely blocked and it alternates. Usually in the evenings and during sleep. I know it's normal but sometimes I feel I just can't get enough air!!!!

If you are a graduate or planning to attend university of phoenix can you tell me why you think it's worth spending all that money? The way I look at it the education is substandard, the degree is worthless, the cost is high, and any employer worth their salt would laugh at your resume! So why, why, why would anyone go there?

I noticed that hot girls who are poor and have little or no education going for loser guys who are either poor, uneducated, involved in crime, or some combination of the previous. I figure they're hot, they can basically get any man they want and live a much better life than they otherwise could have. So why do they consistently go for the losers?

Can someone tell me when the moon is visually very, very large? I'm not talking about when the moon is actually physically close to the earth, but a time when the Moon is right at the horizon and the atmosphere magnifies it to make it look much larger. Is there a time of year when this happens? I live in the west coast USA. Thank you in advance.

Anyone know where I can find *special* (wink-wink) Blu-Ray movies? I'm not looking for a particular franchise, but a variety to choose from...

I've been trying out blu-ray movies on my ps3... I am legend, 300, lord of war... all recent movies, but the only format they play in is widescreen. I have a widescreen high-def tv, but I still get the bars on the top and bottom. My tv has zoom and wide zoom, but wide zoom distorts the picture and zoom cuts off the sides. I've also tried to adjust my ps3 but nothing changes. What's up with this? Is this what we can expect? what's the point of having a widescreen tv set?

Have you made a homemade DVR? Does it record as flawlessly and in as good quality as a standalone DVR? I was thinking to build my own DVR, but I want to make sure that capability and features are comparable or superior to the DVR the cable company give yous. I'm planning on getting one of those capture cards that have two tuners on them. What I'm not sure about is how much RAM, speed and type of processor, what type of video card can output in regular and hi-def perhaps hdmi, and also if you have a recommendation for a good capture card.

I'm looking for a device (hardware) that integrates Firewall and Antivirus functions. The only thing so far that I've been able to come up with is the ZoneAlarm Safe@Office appliance which seems pretty good, but doesn't provide any info as to how the gateway antivirus works, how it updates, and how much it will cost after the trial period is over. So if anyone has any info on this product or similar products please let me know. This is for a small engineering firm with 12 users with 2 users using VPN on the weekends.

It seems to me that some people have nothing to be self-confident about, but seem to have a lot of self-confidence. Shouldn't real self-confidence be backed up by something tangilble like intelligence, education, a good-paying or prestigious job or something similar?

If you are someone who is confident, but doesn't have anything tangible to back it up with where does your confidence come from? Are you just delusional, or do you have an inflated sense of self?

I guess what I'm trying to understand is how can loser act and think like a winner?

If you're a girl (in her 20s) and you see a guy you like at the gym and he notices you do you look at him and smile or do you avoid looking at him? If he's on a machine do you use the machine next to him? Do you try to get his attention or do you just sit there and hope he comes to you?
