Hadith of Imam al-Baqir (P.B.U.H) narrated in al-Kaafi, by Zurarah ibn Aayan: "Islam is founded on five pillars: Salat, Zakat, Hajj, Sawm (fasting), and Walayah; People took the first four, and left this (Walayah).
