How to write a farewell letter?
I want to write a short note that can be given to the other children in my daughter's day care because this weill be her last week attending the program. Once March comes, she will be old enough to attend the school I teach. I'm thrilled to have her with me, but worried about her missing her current friends....she's going to be 2 years old in March and is too young to understand what going to a new school entails. She has been with some of the children in her current class since infancy. So, I would like some advice on how to word a letter that expresses the above. I think i'm stuck with how to open the letter. I do know that I want to include my phone number to encourage future play-dates with the old friends. Thanks so much.

4 AnswersOptical1 decade agoShould we give a wedding gift?
Here's a little back info.....My husband works in an office and the office manager's daughter is getting married. He is not friendly with the office manager, and only just met the daughter (who has been working in the office for the past 6-8 weeks). We already declined attending the wedding, should we still buy a gift?
Oh, and btw, the office manager also invited us to her other daugher's graduation party (we did not attend and did not give a gift....we never met the daughter). and we just attended the office manager's son's engagement party. We bought him a gift and went b/c my husband has been workinig with him for over 2 years.
It just seems to us that the office manager is looking for gifts for her kids. all 3 parties were within an 8 week span of time. and i don't know if this matters or not, but the office manager is the boss's sister. Thanks to everyone for your input.

9 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agowhat kind of attachment seat should I buy so my baby can ride on my husband's bike?
I am looking to buy an attachment for my husband's bicycle so he can bring our daughter out for rides. This is going to be a gift, so i can't ask him for advice. I have been leaning toward the front attachment (attaches to the bike frame in front of my hubby's seat) b/c it is supposed to have a better center of gravity. Plus, he would be able to see what she is looking at. We live in a pretty busy area, so i was thinking that the trailer kind would not be as practical for us.....Anyway, i was wondering what kind of bike attachments other people had, and if they were happy with them. Would you recommend the seat you bought? why or why not? I would like to hear about any types of seats....front or rear mounting, and the trailer kind. Thank you!!!
Oh, the one i have really been thinking about is the ibert safe-t-seat. Has anyone used this seat? I have included a link
