Question on whole house audio and outdoor too?
Let me tell you about my setup first and then I will explain what I want to do.
Downstairs I have a Denon 4802 receiver which I use for my home theater main amp. I have connected to it an Onkyo stereo receiver that I use to send music upstairs to one room. In that room I have two speakers with no volume control in the wall. The way that I control the volume is with a remote control that has a leapfrog on it that sends a uhf signal to turn on and off and control volume from upstairs.
Now, here is what I want to do. I want to put 4 sets of in wall or ceiling speakers with volume control panels for these speakers. I would also like to control the speakers that are already upstairs. These are not inwall. This will be hard to do because after remodeling several years ago access to the wires is very difficult if not impossible except for downstairs in the basement where they enter the upstairs.
I also want to have a pair of speakers outside to enjoy when we are out.
1 AnswerMusic & Music Players1 decade agoWhy do so many people have such a terrible time spelling on here?
I can't believe how terrible people spell on this site. Why do you think that is? Are they just stupid or do they just don't know how to type? Your opinion please.
40 AnswersOther - Education1 decade agoQuestion on using poly on furniture. Should you do anything to the poly when you are done?
I recently received some advice from someone to put some poly on my paint for a candy counter I built. It has worked out nicely but I was wondering if I can do anything to the finish after I am done with the last coat. It is much better than the paint surface but still has some defects. Some are little air bubbles which I tried like heck to get rid of to no avail plus some other little bumps and things. Not as nice as a factory job but looks pretty nice.
What can I do to smooth this out as I have already put on about 6 coats with sanding in between to get it as smooth as I can. I can't put anymore coats on because enough is enough. Advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.
3 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoI made a candy counter and spray painted it. How can I get my surface smoother?
No matter how I did it there was always overspray and some of the finish needs to be buffed. Can I do this? What do people do after painting furniture to make it the smoothest it can be? Please give me any advice and things I need to do. What type of cloth or buffing pads or things to use? Thanks.
6 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoIs there a difference between satin and semigloss in a spray paint?
I did a comparison and don't see any difference. They are two different brands of spray paint and was wondering if it is just another way of labeling?
