I found this beetle on a cantaloupe I bought at a supermarket in southern California. It would not lay peacefully on its back so I could only scan it from the bottom. It is slow moving but strong and about an inch long. I really want to know what species it is so I can feed it. I won't let it go because it could be a pest from another country.

I think it is used in engineering or accounting. I find it is easier to teach my students organization in problem solving using it and they make fewer mistakes. I have not been able to find it at staples, office depot, or rite aid. I have no idea where it originally came from. It looks a little like the kind of cells you have in Excel. See for yourself:

My son is going to french camp this summer and he is only allowed to lode french language songs on his IPOD. His tastes run towards hard alternative, screamo, etc...

Any suggestions or suggestions on where to look for names of songs/bands?

I have an autistic kid I am working with. He is fairly bright and a

teenager now, but really does not understand human emotions and

social relations well. He asserted the other day that there was not

difference between anger and hate. I thought about it and I

immediately in my gut knew that wasn't true, but it took me a little

while to come up with an explanation that seems plausible.

My explantion is that hate is about wanting something disappear.

Whether it is destroyed, banished, or made invisible, hate has the

connotation of annihilation.

Anger is also an emotion that is linked to destruction, but anger is

more about wanting to communicate whether through words or violence.

In anger you want to express your hurt or rage. You want the other

person to feel your pain. You want the other person, to change their

behavior, or their mind or at least regret that they crossed you.

The two emotions are often mixed and then you get people who want to

hurt someone and banish them from their lives/the universe.

Do you agree with this summary and how would you explain it to such a

kid.
