I've just installed a new computer and YouTube tells me that videos are unavailble. Have I inadvertantly blocked content when setting up the computer?

My next door neighbour keeps flicking his cigarette ends over the fence onto my property. I'm worried that he's going to start a fire as I keep my recycling bins close to the fence. He knows that I know he's doing it but he thinks it's a laugh. Is there any legal action I can take to stop him doing this? (UK only)

I have been asked by a good friend, who doesn't have a bank account, to change a large number of recently-withdrawn £20 notes. I agreed to do so, but now find that my friend's life savings amount to £5,000 in these notes. Can I just walk into a bank and ask for them to be changed, or will the bank think I'm money-laundering? The money has been earned honestly over several years and was kept under the mattress, because my friend is a refugee from the war in the former Yugoslavia who now has gained British citizenship but doesn't have much understanding of either the English language nor the way we do things here.

My wife and I are being harassed by her son from her previous marriage. He has been sending vile texts and emails accusing my wife of child abuse when he was young, amongst other foundless accusations. He's 30 now and sick in the head. I need to get this stopped. How do I get a restraining order to prevent this happening in the future?

I often receive slide shows in PPS format by e-mail and would like to print some of the slides. I can't figure out how to do this, so any help would be most appreciated. I'm running Windows XP Home and use a Canon Pixma MP170 printer.

We got a quote to decorate our spare room, which we accepted. The guy said the job would be done in four days. A month later, following excuse afer excuse, the job remains unfinished and the work done so far is poor. I fired the guy and now he's demanding full payment. Where do we go from here?
