Several days ago I noticed my poodle mix dog was smelling pretty foul. I thought it was just that he needed to bathe, but everyday kept getting worse and worse. We saw that his neck was constantly wet, but couldn't understand why. Today we decided to check through his hair to see what was going on under there since the stench was now unbearable. There was this HUGE gash where his collar was cutting through his neck. It was too tight, it was his collar from a few months ago, but he's grown so fast, that now its too small. We cut the collar off, but I think that it is seriously infected & want to know what I can do to prevent it from getting worse since I can't take him to the vet right now until Friday when I'm off work. Please help! BTW he is a poodle mix, so he has very think, long, curly hair & I think I might have to shave it off. IDK. Please help! Thanks!

The innocent, pure being hid behind that wall.
