  • What about Slipknot concert?

I'm not sure if anyone understood my concern for the question i asked earlier. My husband is black I am white my 14 yr old is both. Will we be safe going to the concert or will there be a lot of people trying to hang us from the nearest tree! I am very liberal and my son is a big fan. For christmas he is getting tickets and we (parents) are taking him as I would rather take him than him sneak off to another city to go. I just want to be sure it will be ok because one of us in the group is black. Are they Racist? Do Racist people go to their concert.

  • What kind of people listen to Slipknot?

I am asking because my son who is bi-racial (black&white) wants to go to their concert and my husband and I are willing to take him but I want to be sure that we will be safe. Meaning I want to make sure it is not the type of music Neo-Natzi's listen to.

  • Is this punishment too harsh?

My 14 yr. old son has not turned the water all the way off in the shower and it drips all night with a soaked floor in the morning for the third time this week. His punishment no trick or treating with the younger sisters. Is my husband over reacting? My son is a super smart kids who goes to a college prep high school but has NO common sense. He is always doing something wrong that normally common sense would have told you not to. Is this normal for smart kids not to have common sense? How do I handle this?

  • Hair loss due to collar?

I noticed last night that under my dobie's neck the hair was starting to thin from her collar. There is also a spot on her back from her harness that is used to walk her. What can I use to make sure she doesn't totally loose her hair in those spots.

  • It is so hard to walk my Doberman?

We adoped a 2 yr old doberman this month and when I walk her she basically pulls me to the ground. I have tried different collars and harnesses. I even tried cesar millan's collar. Didn't work. She would rather be choked or pinched. I have tried keeping the leash short to keep her next to me but she is so strong that boing that almost makes me fall to the ground. I am an avarage size female and I walk her every day. She pulls me down the street. I make her sit before we go out and make sure I am the first one out the door but after that she is dragging me down the street. She has even bolted so fast that I fell and the leash was pulled out of my hand. She did come back to me when I called her. She knows basic commands sit, lay, shake, come. Any Advice. I have tried most of Cesar Millan's tips....Not working....

  • Is my Doberman talking to me?

We adopted Zena a 2 yr old female Dobie this month from a shelter. She is very sweet, loving, and great with my kids aged 7, 10, &14. She wants to be loved on all the time. When you are not paying attention to her she will bark at you. Not aggressively more like a Timmy fell in the well type bark. Is she telling me to pay more attention to her? Once she has been with us longer will she realize how much we love her and that we are not going to get rid of her and not need so much affection? All she wants to do is lay in your lap and be petted all day long. She has had some training as she can sit, shake, and lay on command and we walk her everyday. She does play with our male Bassett Hound Buddy but not for long as he is a very lazy dog.
