I need to find out the time when the file was created on the pc, is this possible lets say I installed a program on 1/1/2014 do any of the file attributes/meta data say a particular file created on the pc was made on 1/1/2014?

I have a disk that needs to be cloned. I only have the drive. I want to hook it up to my pc and clone the drive to an external drive but I was wondering how to do that, because I will have three drives. Is there some special way to do this or can I follow the normal device-image procedure?

My hard drive crashed, I tried to reinstall windows 7 home premium on a new hard drive but the install disc is scratched will it matter if i install an windows 7 iso and use the 'old' product key? Will the home premium be activated automatically because the product key is still clearly visible and valid in my opinion or should I buy a new windows 7 home premium? That would be kind of unfair already having a valid key.

some people say their older programs react slower after installing new software. does setting the priority to below normal or low in task manager processes affect the program in a way regarding using less resources or having less of an impact when using them?

Or better yet what actually happens when setting the priority to low of a process?

I want to map a drive for an OU using group policy, but the problem is that there are several folders with the same name (in different directories), how do i correctly map this drive should i include the higher directory as the path when mapping the drive (example net use n: \\servername\subdirectory\folder, instead of net use n: \\servername\folder)

I have a dell dimension 3100 after the boot screen I get no video, you can enter the bios and make changes but as soon as you exit the bios there's no video, the pc is on however, does anyone know a way to fix it btw i've checked with another monitor, the memory, "offboard" videocard and the battery still nothing gives.

when I ping a certain workstation (ws1) from workstation 2 I get an ip address lets say 192.168.1.10(ws1), the problem is when I ipconfig on ws2 I get ip 192.168.1.10 but when I ipconfig on ws1 the ip address seems to be lets say 192.168.1.120, any suggestions?

I would like to delete a shortcut on the desktop for a user, I can't do that because windows says, access denied file in use blah blah, when I log in as the administrator the .lnk doesn't show up on the desktop in explorer, which means I can't delete the shortcut. Does anyone have any solutions?

I can't save pdf with filled in forms in adobe reader (the forms are made with adobe lifecycle), is there any setting in lifecycle which prevents saving the pdf or is adobe reader unable to save the pdf with the data filled in

I can't receive and send email from a particular contact in outlook 2003, when I'm in a cc mail, everyone except me receives a mail, and when I send a mail, everyone except the particular recipient receives the email. My mouse pointer is gone during windows xp setup, I'm stuck at country and keyboard settings in the gui when installing windows but the mouse pointer is gone, and I can't use back and next because they have no possibility to be manipulated using the alt combination (alt n - next) or what ever combination using the alt button. A usb mouse doesn't work either. Anyone any ideas.

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonging to him and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it. LORD you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.

The LORD replied, my precious, precious child, I Love you and I would never leave you! During your times of trial and suffering when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.
