...this is such a bad thing. I do not like to put any kind of drugs in my body and that includes asprin and other types of over the counter medications. I will use them when I really need them, but I would much rather let my body take care of it when it can. The reason I ask is because of the following. Yesterday, I cut my finger pretty good, a fairly good chunk of flesh was hanging. Now, I know injuries, I deal with them daily as and EMT-P, so I know the difference between a flesh wound and an injury that really requires medical attention. I cleaned the injured site, put everything back in place and bandaged it up and went back to work. I did not go get stitches, did not get any pain meds, did not tie up any doctors or nurses. My finger works like it always has, just stiff and little sore today. I do need anything for the pain or swelling, it is not that bad, there are no signs of infection. Why are so many women calling me stubborn and hard headed because I do not want meds?

The mother has fought for two years to ensure she had her time with her youngest child, in a 50/50 shared custody divorce. Now, she says that she is moving and the child can determine where she wants to live. The move will take the mother 1200 miles from where she now lives. She is all the sudden okay if she only sees her daughter during the summer and rotated holidays etc... Now I find out, that she plans to move out there with this guy that is 41 years older than she is and she is 42, he is buying the house, paying for the move and she is going to be his so called live in care taker. I have seen the guy, and he is old, but does not seem to have any problem getting around. She claims there is nothing romantic at all. He obviously has money and she has blown me away by not asking for anything and how willing she is to basically give up her rights to our youngest daughter. Do you require touch in your marriage from your husband/wife to feel like they notice you, are attrated to you, desire you, want you and need you? Not do they love you, but do you feel that touch is necessary and I am not refeering to sex.

A touch on the arm, a smack on the butt, a kiss on the neck, a rub of the shoulders, back scratch or rub that you did not ask for...these types of things, do you feel they are vital in your marriage to make you feel you are wanted, valued, needed...etc by your spouse?

We are having a big discussion here at work over this issue and thought it would be fun to see how everyone out there feels on this subject.

Okay, for the most part I think I am very understanding and supportive of my wife. I think she is the most beautiful woman on planet earth and love her beyond words.

The problems is that every once in a while, she has what she calls "melt downs" and I have to agree. There is no real reason why, she will just get pissed at the world, hate herself, think she is fat, and do a complete 180. Not looking for a diagnosis, just some insight in to how to help her when she is in one of these melt downs. I want to help, but I do not want to be patronizing and I don't want to make it worse. How would you want your husband or boyfriend to react if you went into a crying fit or a rage?

that EMTI.PK has completed the test on their unit in Florida. I read in a stock chat that the tests are complete and they are getting ready to release the results next week. Has anyone heard anything like that? I can not validate that anyplace.
