Why do nursing homes restrict who they can admit based on age?
If there is a younger person who is desperate need of full-time care, why won't nursing homes admit that person? Why is age such an important consideration?

I'm a bit younger, and I would like it 4-5 times a week. He doesn't seem to want it that often. Is that unusual? We are very attracted to each other, and it's fantastic when we DO, I just wondered if I MYSELF am strange for wanting it so often, or if it's strange he doesn't, or if maybe we just need to find a compromise... and if we compromise, does that mean we really aren't compatible?
13 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoHow to handle an inequality in emotional committment?
We've been seeing each other for a little more than a month. He is very emotionally attached to me, and feels we have incredible long term potential. I think the possibility is there, but I am not feeling nearly as "sure" about it as he is. Is it selfish to stay in the relationship, knowing I don't CARE as much as he does, and knowing there is a possibility I never will? Should I "stick it out" for a while longer, take the chance of hurting him, just to see if I "develop" these feelings? What's the right thing to do?
