My avg antivirus expired after 6 months so I've gone for Avast but it's not the complete replacement as has no firewall. So instead of removing avg free I've kept it going for the parts that didn't expire and I haven't noticed any conflicts. avg on it's own slows and hangs the computer anyway. After I downloaded Avast, avg then started showing the antivirus as running again but how can it be when it's expired? I also use Zonealarm. Should I be doing anything different from above as am now confused.

Anybody know before I poison myself please? Gentlemen, ladies, anyone?

Its about 18' square, ruins the view from upstairs and shows me up on Googlearth. Is there anything in green maybe that won't flake off?

My 24 year old girlfriend works as a waitress for a restaurant chain and showed me her payslip the other day...they pay her £4.30 p/h (minimum wage is £5.35 i think) they then top this up to exactly £5.35 p/h BUT with tips that were left to her on cards and obviously keep the rest. How is that legal? Is this what most employers in that industry does? Just curious...how can such a big company be tight as a ducks butt and not only nick waitresses tips but use them to pay them with it!?!?! Ta.

I'm having trouble getting to grips with the last bulk lot of books I bought and keep avoiding them. Usually I can't be dragged away but these seem to have a hopeless feeling surrounding them. I was wondering if anyone knows about psychometry relating to books. Or have I lost it altogether?
