6 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment10 years agoReoccuring red circles on my child's feet?
Two years ago, I noticed red circles under the skin of my child's feet (clear in the middle, different sizes [biggest is probably about half an inch circumference], not raised, not painful, not itchy, the skin outside is pretty normal, not flaky). They were mostly on the soft part (where the arches are). By the time we got to the pediatrician's office, they were completely gone. We tried to describe them to the ped but he just brushed it off.
After that we didn't think too much of it, but then today they just re-appeared on his feet. It makes me wonder if something is wrong. It is the weekend so we can't go see anybody. I am just curious to know what they are.
He is mostly with me in the house, but the first time they appeared he was in daycare.
I am afraid that the next time we go to the ped, he is just gonna brush it off again. I want to go see a dermatologist, but we need a referral for that.
Can anybody pls help me determine what this is. I have taken some photos, I can post them if I have to.

2 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoshould I call my in-laws mom/ dad or with their names?
My hubby and I have been married for a few years, this whole time, I have struggled everytime I have to call my mother/father in laws because I just don't know if I should call them mom/dad or with their names.
Where I grew up, once you are married to someone, you call their parents mom and dad and it is considered quite rude to call them with their names. I can't feel comfortable calling them mom and dad though because we don't even get along that well, they never even really welcomed me to their family. I asked them how they'd like to be called and also I told them about how it is where I grew up, but they just didn't care. They said whatever I want and emphasized that it's fine if I just called them with their names.

I am trying to build a princess room for my little girl and I would like to add those curtains that drape over the headboard. I don't want to buy a bed crown because it's too expensive, so I need to know if there are other ways to do it.

I just would like to know how other pregnant women with bad pregnancy symptoms function at work or do you even go to work? I have been taking diclectin for my nausea since I am nauseous like 24/7, but then it makes me feel completely drowsy and I can barely function.
2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoCan't get pregnant after a c-section?
I had a c-section with my first baby over 2 years ago, hubby and I have been trying to have a 2nd baby for the last few months, but have been unsuccessful. We are getting really discouraged and are thinking of seeing a doctor soon to find out what's wrong. It's really weird because with our 1st one, we got pregnant on the first try. We are wondering if something happened when they did the c-section that is causing this. Anyone ever experienced this, or does anyone know why this maybe? or maybe someone knows what we can try?
5 AnswersTrying to Conceive1 decade agoCan you have another wedding after a few years of marriage?
Can you have another wedding with the bride wearing a white gown if you have been married for a few years already?
The thing is, they would like to have an actual wedding with families and friends because their first one was not that good, it was only just the 2 of them with a couple of witnesses and regular clothes. Now that they can actually afford to have an actual wedding, they would like to do it as if it was the first time. Is this right/possible? anybody did this before?
9 AnswersEngagements & Weddings1 decade agoNeed help desperately please!!! addiction?
I have a friend that I love so much who drinks a lot of alcohol everyday for many many years now. For about a year, he has been having weird things happening to him, his face, hands, legs swell for a few days at time and this seems to happen every other week or so. On top of that he vomits and complains of his tummy hurting too. When all this happen, he stops drinking for a few days. One time the swelling didnt seem to go away and I think he had some sort of withdrawal, so he started drinking again. When he did drink again the swelling went away, but then he started complaining about his throat and chest hurting a lot. Ever since he figured out that he can drink to make the swelling go away, he has been doing it all the time. He seems to get worse everyday though, we all think he is going to die soon. We try to talk to him, but he gets very upset and becomes defensive. We don't want to lose him. What can we do? he lives in a country where there are no facilities that help alcoholics.
3 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoWhat is this on my baby's skin?
I noticed this on my baby's skin for a couple of days now, it looks like little bumps kinda purplish not red; these little bumps form a circle (about the size of a big coin) and they only appear to be surrounding an area that looks kinda caved in, it is located near my toddler's knee. It doesn't seem to be itchy or bothering him. It's really worrying me, but because it's a holiday, I can't make an appointment with his doctor. Does anyone know what this might be?

1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoSick toddler and your job?
I would like to know how all you other parents dealt with this situation. Your toddler is sick (it happens often since he is new at daycare), you are still on probation with you new job, you have no one around to help, you really need the job, and your employer is not tolerant since there's a lot of work to do (Please note that work from home is not an option).
8 AnswersParenting1 decade agoIf you had fallen ill on your first day of work and you still go in, what would...?
If you are an employer, how do you deal with someone who is sick on their first day of work, and this person looks very miserable, but still came in to work. If you were the sick employee what would you do?
6 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment1 decade agoIs it doable to drive 60 miles every day to work night shifts after taking care of your baby all day?
A friend of mine is considering taking a night shift job (the only night job she could find that pays enough), this job would require her to drive 60 miles in total every night. She can't take a day job since no one would take care of her baby, daycare would just break even with her pay. Is this possible/doable if she still has to take care of her baby all day during the day?(Note that she is already exhausted at the end of the day) would you advise someone to do this?
Or do you have any other suggestions to give? At this point it's not possible for her to move at all to be closer to where the job is, but she desperately needs the money to pay her bills.

13 AnswersHalloween1 decade agoMy 15 month old baby hates all drinks including milk, help!!?
My baby hates all kinds of drinks including his milk, it doesn't matter how or when they are given to him. I tried telling his pediatrician about this but all he ever says is that he will drink when he wants, but my baby is dehydrating, and is getting so skinny, his lips are so dry... He has a bad diarrhea now and he is dehydrating even more and the ped just gave him pedialyte which doesn't help in anyway since my baby refuses to drink anything. He swats at everything and screams if we even try. I have tried going to another doctor for a 2nd opinion but they need his medical history. I don't want them to call my baby's pediatrician's office though because I still want to stay with him since he has been my baby's ped since birth. I am so hopeless.
13 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoMy almost 1 yr old baby wakes up every couple of hours or so to nurse, how can I stop him from doing this?
I am still nursing my baby and am planning on doing so for another couple of years, the only problem i have is that he sorta wakes up every 2 hours or so to latch on (I believe for comfort because a lot of the time he doesn't even suck) if I put him on right away then, he continues sleeping, although he needs to stay on about 10 - 15mn to go into a good sleep. If I don't, then he'd get up to try and find the breast and if it's not there then he screams and wouldnt go back to sleep at all (he never taken a soother and refuses to). This routine gets me really exhausted, how can I put him to sleep and for him to stay completely asleep til the morning, or how can I get him to soothe himself to go back to sleep?
