  • How do I figure out what to do for a living?

    I'm an introvert lacking direction!

    I've been out of school for years. I have a BA in English (1992), but did enough coursework for 3 degrees (Cognitive Science also). Almost everything interests me at least a bit, but nothing absorbs me, hence my not going to graduate school years ago. I'm stuck in a dead-end retail job in a bookstore, where the conversations are surprisingly lackluster, especially since I'm not great at small talk.

    Any advice is welcome.
