When someone describes you as being "professional" what does that mean?
At every job that I've had over the past few years, my coworkers have always described me as being smart and "very professional". I'm just curious if that's a code word for being very serious, formal or does it have some sort of other connocation? I just want to get a little bit of insight into what people REALLY mean when they describe a coworker as "professional."

Lately, I've noticed more anti-black hostilily on yahoo answers. I haven't been here long but I've noticed an influx of hostile, negative and passive-aggressive questions that undermine black people and black culture.
I'm sick of the anti-black baiting and I know I'm not alone. Have you noticed more anti-Black questions? And, if so, are you tired of it? This question is an effort to maintain free speech but to speak up against race baiters on yahoo.

Half of all US marriages end in divorce. Every day you hear about husbands cheating on their wives and vice versa.
In many traditional cultures, adultry is strictly forbidden but men are allowed to have more than one wife. There are rules, too. For example, men are required to take care of each wife. They can only have the number of wives that they can afford. There are also rules for women, too.
I've been also watching the the HBO show Big Love, too, and wondering could polygamy work in the US? It wouldn't be a requirement. Only those who want to can follow it.
What do you all think?
