  • Abnormal 2nd trimester Ultrasound?

    Hi, I had my second trimester ultrasound last week. But my doc has asked me to go for a Level 2 U/S saying she cudn't see the heart chambers properly. While giving the prescription to U/S technicians she has termed it as abnormal U/S. Has anyone had a similar situation before? Because of lack of appointments, the earliest appointment we are getting with the Fetal Medicine specialist for Level 2 U/S is 2 weeks away. Checked with the Doc and she said nothing much can be done about it at this point. I am confused & worried now. Any help/suggestions will be deeply appreciated.

  • Is lower abdominal pain normal during early stages of pregnancy?

    Hi, for the past 7-8 days, I have been having constant pain in my lower stomach - below my belly button. I ignored it initially, thinking it was menstrual cramps. But the pain has gotten worse in the past couple of days. I was almost rolling on the bed with pain, last night. My lower stomach- below my belly button feels really heavy and bloated.... Like there is a rock inside my tummy! I took a home pregnancy test last night and found out that I'm pregnant! Are these symptoms normal during pregnancy? I was `reading through the internet and saw similar symptoms for ectopic preg as well.... :( I am really worried. The earliest appointment I coule get w/ the doc is only in March... Plz help!
