I was wondering because my family has lived in the US since Jamestown, I'm many Nationality's but my race is white, going by this definition of ethnicity: "The fact or state of belonging to a social group that has a common national or cultural tradition." This means that I wouldn't belong to an ethnic group located in England, Scotland, Poland, Wales, Ireland, France, etc... (The nationalities that I am), but I would be an american ethnicity because I belong to the American culture which is quite different, plus my friends Rathan (who is full Indian) and Ethan (Who is half european half Japanese) have lived in the US all their lives and live a very normal average American life, they all have a dog that they walk, they all do chores, these are just really bad examples, but you get the point that their life at home is just the same as mine so is there an official "American" ethnicity?

I've been youtubeing as a call of duty player for about 2-3 months now and I only have 27 subscribers and although in the beginning I had some really bad quality videos but surprisingly they are my most popular, now I only get like 20 views per video and most of the people who watch my videos are just random people passing through... can you take a look at my channel and tell me what I can do to improve my commentating or what can I do to get more well known?

I'm thinking about starting up some sort of parent helping channel on youtube that would basically have me answering questions that parents ask me etc... I'm a 13 almost 14 year old and I've noticed over the past couple of years that I'm really interested in psychology and how people react to certain things and above all helping people. So my real question here is would you watch this kind of from a kid side of how to parent your kids point of view and how would I sort of market it to adults because in all honesty what do adults do on youtube???

I read this book a while ago called The Secret Life of Bees and it's really good, but I have this teacher who is going to give extra credit to students who have read it and she has a sheet on what was in the book and I read the book a while ago so I'm kind of shabby on it plus this teacher is really old and is one of those old school teachers who will make some of the most impossible questions... So if you were an insane teacher who wanted to give a few really hard questions that only someone who read the book would know what would you pick and why... by the way be serious because this extra credit is the difference between a B-B+ and an A and I would much rather prefer the A... I swear sometimes I talk to people about politics and it feels like they have lived in a cave for the past 1000 years or that they have a potato for a head... Honestly I mean what is with people now a days I mean I talk to them about certain things and they absolutely support things that aren't even factually correct. Example some kid at my school the other day said he hated Obama and I don't really hate Obama because you know he has come in on a huge mistake that president Bush made and people hate on him for that, but my friend Peter was seriously talking about how Obama started 3 wars and how Obama is a con artist who wants your money and I'm just standing there with this look on my face like 0.o and so why do people do it I mean honesty???

So I'm looking for a new laptop and I really want an alienware laptop, but my uncle told me that I could probably find a laptop that is not of the alienware brand but has the same or similar specs so does anyone here know of a computer that has similar specs to an aienware laptop but for less?

So usually if you look at my profile I can answer questions about relationships pretty well although right now I don't really know how to handle this. So there is this girl who I like in my school named Shay and I've liked her since the beginning of the school year along with another girl... Now in the beginning of the school year not to many people knew me since I was here last year, but only for a short time. Any who in the second semester she was in my science class with none of her crappy friends who I though would reject me so I though I might talk to her and get to know her. See this is difficult because I'm a really shy guy and not to many people talk to me in the first place... But to my surprise she started talking to me and since then I made her laugh and it was fun and she said she liked me and I said I liked her. So just last week I asked her out and she said yes but she wanted to wait until summer so she could focus on her gymnastics. So I was really exited so I told my friends at my lunch table and I didn't get ten seconds past I like shay and she likes me before they started dragging me to her to ask her out. Well then she said I can't because of that thing I told you about and I said I know its just my friends were going to kill me if I didn't ask you out. And she laughed and said ah and then I said I'll see you in science and I left. Well that night I got really pissed at my friends and went a little rambo with blames. Well the next thing I knew I found out that one of my friends tyler had liked shay to and so that's why he had been hating on me for the past couple of months. And he said I almost instantly got her and who didn't give me the memo life sucked and all these different things. And now I'm home sick from school trying to see if things will shake off with him and I really don't know what to say to tyler because he has alot of social influence in my group and in alot of places in which I would like to move up to and so I am kind of getting worried here because I like tyler but I also like shay ALOT and I really need some advice on this because I am absolutely taking shots in the dark right now to try to cool things over...

P.S. I'm in the 8th grade and almost in highschool

and I've been told I'm handsome I'm not really sure if it's true but oh well.

I am a 13 year old 8th grader who takes a high school German class before school every morning. I'm an A student and every year that I have spent at the school I am at I have gotten honor role. This year I saw that my school was having an exchange with some kids from Germany and to my surprise my mom actually said yes. So ever since my exchange partner has been here there have been these huge get-togethers that we have done with the other students involved in the exchange. This is also pretty cool for me because I'm probably the first kid in my school to go to a high school party and actually interact with the people there. So tonight we had a movie night and so I told my parents and they called the parents that were hosting it and we had an understanding that the movie was going to be held there with dinner and then I'd call my parents when I was done AND that I was not to drive anywhere with this guy named Jack who is also part of the exchange and drove us home the other day from another social event. Now Jack is 16 and he's a good driver but my parents aren't comfortable with it. So anyways now that you have that background I'll continue to tell the story. So my and my exchange partner went to the house and ate food and talked to the other students and then someone said lets go watch the movie. And I said ok. But then suddenly everyone started leaving. Then this guy from Germany named Simon told me that we were going to watch the movie at another persons house. Now knowing my parents they probably wanted to drive me although my parents are very old (my dad is 70) and they don't know the area very well. As I flipped out my phone everyone around me started to leave and to get into cars and me and my exchange partner were the only ones left in the area and we almost didn't get into a car to go. See I thought that it might be 30 minutes for my parents to get here because they're going to try to mapquest the location then they are going to go back home to mapquest the other location, then they are going to find the extremely confusing instructions to get the the location and by that time the movie could already be over with so me and my exchange partner jumped in the last car there was and apparently that was Jack's car. So we drove over to the other persons house and I was thinking of telling my parents a lie because having old fashion American parents is like having Asian parents that are also part time detectives and will sort things out because they don't have anything better to do (they are both retired). But then I thought I am trying to gain my parents trust because I lost it when I was six for telling a fib about my vitamins and how I actually threw the bottle away. So I told them the truth because I really want my parents to believe that I'm not some snob teenager who is against society or whatever and is a jackass and so I told them the truth. Well as soon as the movie was over my mom picked me up and she was mad but after I explained the hole thing to her she understood a little and said I used my resources and made it work out but she did say my dad wont do the same. And she was right because as soon as my dad saw me he came in with a face that told me there is gonna be hell to pay and he said the exact following thing "you say you want respect, you say you want to be trusted, you say that you are responsible, and you ask that I recognize that but you DO NOT. So now you get nothing... I don't trust you anymore and if you ever ask me for anything again the answer is always NO." then my dad walked out of my room. So do I really deserve this I mean not getting anything is pretty standard for my parents considering the fact that the only thing I've gotten from them this year even close to a present is the exchange trip, but really I did what they have told me to since I was born: Use what you have and make it work the best you can. PLEASE HELP constantly I try to do the right thing and my parents only see a crooked view. They don't see an honor student, they don't see a computer programer, they don't see the person I am, all they see is the bad things not the good things such as what I did tonight, all my dad saw was I rode in Jacks car and did exactly the opposite of what he told me to. He didn't even see the position I was in. So please help me because I will show him this and tell him that I'm not just bad!

I'm a 13 year old male (almost 14) and since I was 8 me and my brother have been getting acne. Although since I was 12 the acne has picked up and I don't know what I can do to stop it. I mean I do have pro- active but unfortunately it doesn't really seem to work after the first time i tried it. At this point I've almost just entirely given up on using medicine because it never works and I'm thinking about just letting it all pass. Although unfortunately my chest and back have been hit the worst with this acne problem and it looks like a world war 2 battle ground down there. Not to mention the fact that I'm also growing acne on my face in an alarming amount and I'm afraid my face is gonna end up like my chest because I'm almost sure that my chest and back are gonna have acne scars. Either way like all guys my age I'm trying to impress girls and my teachers and having this acne just feels like I don't give a crap about my life and instantly gives off a bad signal to people. So what has worked for you and what should I try and how much of it should I use and what should I use in combination with blank and when should I use it and how should I use it because now I'm so tired of taking a shower and still feeling like !@#$ (excuse my french).

Ok so about a year and 3/4ths ago my parents got me a laptop. My laptop is an hp G61 model and I know its not the best computer, but lately I've been getting these dots on my screen and they are growing and I really don't know what to do. I do have alot of knowledge about technology but this just stumps me. Right now I have three big dots on my screen that grow everyday and I didn't do anything unusual to spark them and I do know how to take care of my computer. So how did I get these and by any chance are they dead pixels? Also if there is a fix for this or if I can get my television hooked up to my laptop and not see the dots I would really like to know before these things grow so big I cn't see the text -.-".

Right now I just woke up to check my school snow day warning monitor and it says no snow day! As it is saying this my neighbors don't have power, last night a tree had so much snow on it, it fell onto our windshield and broke the car windshield. We have not to much snow on the ground (only 3") , but we have a fog warning in effect and the temperature outside is 17 degrees which is enormously cold for this time of year. My friend couldn't get out of his house yesterday to go to school because the house is covered with snow! AND STILL THEY DON'T HAVE A SNOW DAY!!!! HOW IS THIS!!!???

Ok so I'm making a website where you order costume clothes. How the customers are going to get their clothes is they'll look through my catalog and then they e-mail me the styles that they want. So my question is: I don't know how to get the money once they order. I was thinking they could give me their credit card numbers but then I wouldn't know what to do with it if they gave it to me. So how could I accept my pay. PLZ help and answer quickly. TY :D
