HI! I'm a 30 year old mental health/developmental disabilities professional with a 3 year old son, a husband, 3 dogs, and 4 cats. I am also in grad school (yes, I know..I'm nuts!) There's a lot more to me, but it won't fit in this little box! Toodles.

  • Pain in c-section area after workout. Safe to continue workouts?

I had a c-section in 2005. on 5/24-2013, I restarted my martial arts practice (judo/jujitsu) which begins with a SERIOUS core workout. I had serious DOMS the next day through Monday night, but the soreness pretty much went away....except in the c-section area. I still have pain (mild) when I engage those muscles. Am I safe to continue judo/jujitsu? Is this adhesions? Just a weak muscle that takes longer to self-repair than the rest? I have judo again tonight, so speed and accuracy of answers is of the essence...

  • They say "eat when you are hungry, don't when you;re not" but...?

I seem to have a problem. I rarely feel hungry, but when I do, one or two BITES is enough to stop feeling hungry.

Currently, I overeat, because I eat when I feel like eating (bored, stressed, etc...) instead of eating when I'm hungry.

But if I DID only eat when I felt hungry and stopped when I was no longer hungry, I'd be eating like an anorexic - 1 bite here, 2 bites there.

Is there a reason for this?

    Does anyone else experience this?

How can I successfully follow the advice from the title of the question?

  • Possible heart problems?

When I was about 18, I wore a 24 hour monitor. I had periods of bradycardia and tachycardia and general arrhythmia. The doctors called it benign and nothing ever was done.

Now, I am 30 and I am experiencing the same things that sent me to the doctor in the first place - feeling "skips," feeling very fatigued often, feeling mild pain in my chest on and off, cough, and having dizzy spells and periods where it feels weird to breathe.

Since they called it "benign" last time and did nothing, would it even be worth my time, effort, and money to do back?

    Does anyone else experience this?

If you are a doctor, what the &*^#$ is wrong with me?

  • Should I divorce my husband?

We have been married 5 years and have a 3 year old son. My husband is a nice person - really sweet. He loves our son and is a good cook.

But he is 28 physically and 18 mentally and he shows no signs of wanting to grow up.

He waits tables part time, smokes pot, smokes cigarettes (which I truly despise and have asked him to quit before - he lied about his smoking until after we were married) drinks (this morning I woke up needing to pee only to find our toilet seat covered with puke from the whole bottle of wine he had last night) stays up late and cannot get up in the morning...

He's sweet and loves me and my son, but he is completely useless.

    What should I do?

  • Does my employer have a chance of winning a suit against me?

I discovered that my employer was violating ethical and legal guidelines/Medicaid laws. I reported her behavior and quit, offering 2 weeks notice in order to finish up my work. She initially accepted the notice, then rejected it the next business day. The next week I find out that she has made several false charges against me, which the police dept decided not to pursue, then she sends me a letter claiming that I have taken documents from work - which I never did - and demanding their return.

If she sues me for these documents that I don't have or for "harm to the company" resulting from taking these documents that I did not take, does she have a chance at winning?.
