Friendly

Ok, my desktop worked fine all month. Hard wired into my att uverse cable box network port. After re-arranging my room an hooking all back up...it was limited or no connectivity. No matter what i did. So i googled with my laptop...which works fine hooked up the same way...and tried a "winsocket reset" command in DOS prompt. Restarted and it would connect...now it wont load any pages. No setting in my desktop were changed, nor the router. Though the router upstairs was unplugged and moved around. But our phones work fine on wifi....this crappy laptop works fine but if i switch the ethernet back into my desktop it barely loads google page on google chrome and takes even longer on firefox and nothing on I.E....WTF?! Help me please. :(
