Hi the doctors have found a shadow on my mom's lung they got her to have a cat scan and then referred her for a pet scan which she was meant to have this morning but she has just phoned me and said she was to scared to be in the tunnel for as long as they needed as she is chlostraphobic. Can any body please tell me what tests they will do now as I am so frightened, they have fast tracked everything so far because of suspected lung cancer

My mom has been fast tracked for suspected colon cancer. I'd like to know if anyone has any knowledge of this as I'm worried sick. What's the odds of it being cancer and so on. She has a lump and piles also constipation and blood. Has anyone had these and it not been cancer

i miscarried two weeks ago at twelve weeks pregnant, i was told three different things about when i could try again, one nurse said one cycle another said two and a gyno said it doesnt mean ile miscarry again if i try staright away, i just wondered if any of you had any advice on it. thanks

i miscarried at 12 weeks pregnant two weeks ago. i did this naturally and have had a scan which had the all clear for no further treatment. i dont want to go into to detail about the exacts of what happened as it was very traumatic. ive had mixed advice from the hospital about when i can try again one nurse said wait for one cycle and another said wait for two. i spoke to a gyno who said im at no greater risk of miscarring again if i got pregnant straight away. so i would like to ask what others did if you dont mind sharing it with me. im very keen to try again. 10 points for honest advice thanks
