Wife, mom, grandma, car Dealer, photographer.... Jack of all trades, master of none? That's probably me! We have 4 children, 2 still at home and 2 grown. My husband was US Army serving on 9/11-we have issues! LOL! Been around the US and more with the military. One son is in the USAF now and we're loving traveling to see them wherever they may go too! We own and rescue parrots and live with a couple of sassy dogs! One is a Shar Pei and the other an Old English Bulldog. We own a small, used car dealership that keeps us busy most of the time. I am a photographer and teacher. That keeps me busy the rest of the time! There's so much more to me than that and I have no idea where to begin!

  • Can an employer move an employee to a position of less pay for no reason?

My husband is exceptionally good at his job. Because he can do basically 2 jobs they want to pay him the lesser jobs rate and hire someone else in his original position. They say that "the line would fall apart" without him in the lesser position.

  • Wormed a puppy and now it's having seizures?

My so just called me and they had a friend bring to them an 8 week old puppy that they had just wormed. It started having a seizure and has been having them on and off evidently. Any ideas? Obviously it needs a vet, but is there ANYTHING I can tell them in the mean time?

  • So, what do all the camera experts think on the new 1DX?

As announced today by Canon? http://www.canonrumors.com/

How about the $6800 price point? For me? that is steep and I'd be selling 3 cameras to put myself into it. Definitely something to consider, but then again the features packed into it definitely make it worth the $. I know I want out of the 5D2 at the very least.

For video how about the new 29.9 minute limit? That is actually USEABLE! Hopefully that will carry over to the new 5D3 when it comes out (soon???) I have never used the video on my cameras, but it definitely would change a lot of things for those that do.

The new sensor technology has me excited. I really am anxious to see the high ISO testing and how it performs.

The focus system? now that has me hooked.

I think for me personally it means waiting until the next 5D is announced and seeing how it sizes up to this. If it just doesn't cut it (which to me the 5d2 doesn't cut it when compared to the 1D III and IV or the 7D-or Nikon's comparable bodies) then I'll be selling the 5d2, the 1d3 and the 50D and buying a new 1Dx. Of course I'll be throwing in all of my pennies and a couple of children to get there, but it might just be worth it.

  • Is the GI Bill counted as income against SSDI?

My husband is prior military and now eligible for Social Security Disability. They are telling us that his GI Bill and BAH put him over the income limits for SSDI. I am a bit confused. Is student aid counted against SSDI?
