  • Windows 10 randomly freezing?

Windows 10 worked perfectly for me for the first month. After that something happened, since it's sometimes randomly freezing.

When these freezes occur I'm not able to move mouse or do anything else either. If I'm watching a movie or playing a game, the screen just goes to a still state so to speak. These freezes usually take from 10 to 30 seconds and then it works normally again.

The freezes are happening during random times. It could be 3 hours without a single freeze, but I also have periods when it happens every 5 minutes or so.

Also, when I restart after freezes, it takes like 10 minutes to open Windows 10 again. This is extremely weird, because I have a Kingston HyperX SSD, that usually takes 10 SECONDS to load windows up...

I'm pretty sure this is a software issue, but in case it is a hardware issue, here are the specs:

    Mobo: Asus Z87-k

    CPU; i5 4670k @ 4,00 GHZ

    GPU: GTX 560ti

    SSD: Kingston Hyper X 128GB

    Storage drive: WD 1000GB

    PSU: Corsair CX 600W

I know that installing Windows again would probably fix the issue, but I would prefer not to go through the hassle of installing everything all over again... Please try to suggest alternative solutions. :-)

    Thanks in advance,

    Jack

  • Need a little help with a PC upgrade!?

    Hello.

My Asus GTX 560ti has been an amazing card for me for over 3 years, but the age is starting to show.

I'll need a new GPU for sure, but I'm not too sure whether or not I should buy the upcoming R9 390 from AMD, since I've been always a NVIDIA-guy and I've heard some bad things of AMD-cards' optimization in gaming. My monitor resolution is 2560 x 1440 so the VRAM on AMDs GPUs seems very tempting. My budget is around 400 Euro. So my top question is: Should I buy R9 290, or go with either 970 or 980?

Second question: I'm not quite sure what I should do with my CPU. It's a i5 4670k at stock. Is it worth it to overclock it for gaming? Also, my DDR3 is ancient, probably 5 years old. I've got only 6GB (3x 2GB) (1333) of it and I'm thinking of buying 8GB (2x4) of Corsair Vengeance. If I upgrade these, would it be wise to keep 4 GB of old memory in the PC, which would make the total RAM space to 12GB, or just stick with 8GB of Corsair Vengeance?

  • IPhone 4 water-damaged?

So few weeks ago I dropped my iPhone 4 to the floor. Up-part glass went away completely, so you could see the front camera without glass, some

Led light and some parts of the logic-board. Also the calling-speakers cover went off. It worked completely fine, so I decided to wait repairing it for christmas. Well today I dropped the iPhone to snow. I took the snow quickly away, but it was already damaged. Calling speaker doesn't work at all, speaker has some problems too. Voices wont come trough speaker, so I cant listen to music with speakers, but a strange thing is that ringtones work completely fine, and the sound is as good as always. But why don,t the other stuff work with speaker, logic board problem?

So please give an advice what to do. Thanks in advance :)

  • Terrible sluttering with GTX 670?

So I built brand new system like 3 weeks ago. Everything works just great, except my graphics card. For example I can play Team fortress 2 with 180 FPS and suddenly it goes to 6 FPS, same thing with almost every game!! So every game is unplayable because it goes for 1 FPS, and GTX 670 is powerful card. I have tried the latest drivers and the beta driver! It is MSI version, factory OC and 3 GB memory. Other system specs, 8 GB ram, windows 7 64 bit, i5 3540k, asus p8z77-v lk motherboard, 750 w PSU.
