Why are everyone sold on the Bulls?
They have been very inconsistent. I know they won in Golden State last night, but they haven't really gotten into any sort of rhythym all season. They are only 13-11 at home. That's concerning if they have homecourt advantage in the first or second round. They seem to be a better road team but idk why. Jimmy Butler has fallen off recently, Noah hasn't been great. Rose takes too many wild shots. Gasol has been the only bright spot. I know they also have injuries with Dunleavy and McDermott, but I don't see those guys putting them over the hump. I say they lose in the second round.

9 AnswersBasketball7 years agoHow are the blazers so good this season?
I thought that when they got off to a hot start that it was a fluke i thought they would come down to earth and find themselves out of the playoff picture but they have been continuing to impress after their blowout win in dallas. I know they were projected to be better than last year but certainly no one expected them to be 31-9 and the 1 seed in the west. What exactly makes them so dominant?
6 AnswersBasketball7 years agoWhats more unstoppable, Dirk's fadeaway or Kareem's skyhook?
IMO, I think Kareem's skyhook. While both shots are virtually unblockable, I have seen Dirk get shut down more often than Kareem, and FG% wise, Kareem always shot a high percentage and that was his primary shot, while dirk shoots mostly fadeaway jumpers.

4 AnswersBasketball8 years ago2013-14 NBA predictions?
My standings and Playoff predictions:
1. Miami- No Brainer, LBJ MVP defending champs
2. Indiana- Took Miami to 7 games, got even better by solidifying bench and Granger will be back healthy
3. Brooklyn- This is how good they are on paper, lets see how it translates to the court. Just look at the Lakers But best staring 5 in the league IMO.
4. Chicago- D-Rose will be back, they will get off to a slow start, tune it up come playoff time
5. New York- Bargnani and World Peace are great additions, but I question how successful they will be if Melo and J.R. Smith continue to jack up shots.
6. Cleveland- If Bynum and Varejao stay healthy. Jack and Clark are great additions
7. Atlanta- Lost J-Smoove, but have done a nice job of aquiring role players. Millsap and Horford will be a decent frontcourt.
8. Detroit- Definitely one of the best defensive frontcourts in the league
1. San Antonio- Are old, but know how to win in the regular season. Will contend once again
2. L.A. Clippers- Were a great team last year, but with Doc as head coach and added depth, they are even more dangerous
3. OKC- I question how good their bench will be if they are relying on Jeremy Lamb to be their James Harden or Kevin Martin. I also think Steven Adams is a bust
4. Houston- Much improved by adding Dwight. Chemistry may be an issue.
5. Golden State- Iggy is the kind of the player they need but Jack and Landry are big subtractions
6. Denver- Brian Shaw is head coach, No more Iggy. May struggle a bit.
7. Memphis- Same with the Nuggets, the Grizzlies are hiring a never before head coach and they haven't improved at all with a much stronger Western Conference.
8. L.A. Lakers- Hard to not put a team in the playoffs with the Black Mamba on the roster. Dwight ruined D'antoni's system. They will probably be horrible defensively Teams like Portland, Dallas, and New Orleans will just miss it. The west is too strong.
Playoffs:
1. Miami vs 8. Detroit Heat 4-1
2. Indiana vs 7. Atlanta Pacers 4-1
3. Brooklyn vs 6. Cleveland Nets 4-3
4. Chicago vs 5. New York Bulls 4-3
West:
1. San Antonio vs 8. L.A. Lakers- Spurs 4-1
2. L.A. Clippers vs 7. Memphis- Clippers 4-2
3. OKC vs 6. Denver Thunder 4-2
4. Houston vs 5. Golden State Rockets 4-2
1. Heat vs 4. Bulls UPSET ALERT!!! Bulls 4-2
2. Pacers vs 3. Nets Pacers 4-1
1. San Antonio vs 4. Houston Spurs 4-3
2. L.A. Clippers vs 3. OKC Clippers 4-2
East Finals;
2. Pacers vs 4. Bulls Bulls 4-3
West Finals:
1. San Antonio vs 2. L.A. Clippers Spurs 4-2
NBA Finals:
Bulls vs Spurs- Bulls 4-2 NBA Champs
Finals MVP: Derrick Rose
MVP: Lebron James
DPOY: Dwight Howard

11 AnswersBasketball8 years agoWhat specifically do you have to do on the driver's road test?
My test will be on July 18th which is a little over a week from now and of course I have practiced alot, but I would like to know what to expect. I live in Rhode Island so I know it's different in other states but they're pretty much similar in all states except for the fact that we don't have to parallel park while other states require it. Is it difficult too?
1 AnswerOther - Cars & Transportation8 years agoWhy does everyone think the Celtics are going to be so bad?
Yes I understand they're rebuilding and they're young, however I don't see them as a horrendous team. They still got some solid pieces from the Nets trade. Humphries is a pretty good rebounder which this team needs and a good defender in Gerald Wallace, and Marshon Brooks who has alot of potential. In addition, you still have one of the best PGs in the league in Rondo, Jeff Green who is a star in the making, Avery Bradley and Courtney Lee, two of the best defenders on the perimiter, and Guys like Sully, Olynyk. Yes there are alot of inexperienced players on this team and Brad Stevens has never coached in the NBA, but they are not a complete joke. I still think they have a chance to sneak in at the 8th seed considering how weak the Eastern Conference is.
4 AnswersBasketball8 years agoCeltics record next season?
Assuming they keep their roster this offseason and dont make any big moves and they dont hire a big name coach, I don't see them even winning 30 games. What do you predict their record will be next season?
8 AnswersBasketball8 years agoShould Popovich bench Ginobli for Game 7?
He's done nothing but hurt them.
1 AnswerBasketball8 years agoWhy are we blaming the refs for the spurs losing?
I am a heat hater, but san antonio definitely deserved to lose this game. missed free throws, didnt get the rebound on the lebron missed 3 which resulted in a ray allen 3, blew a 13 point lead. lets face it, spurs choked.
7 AnswersBasketball8 years agoWill Kevin Durant ever be the best player in NBA?
We obviously know that Lebron is better, but when father time hits Lebron, KD will still be young, so do you think he will be the best in the league by then?
7 AnswersBasketball8 years agoWhat will it take for Indy to get a win in Miami tommorow night?
The Pacers have a big challenge ahead of them and they're going to have to do alot to win Game 7. But I think they can do it. they have to hold D-Wade under 15, Bosh under 15, contain Lebron, and make sure Allen and Battier don't hit any 3's which they haven't been doing all series. Also they need to dominate on the boards, hibbert and west need to take advantage of Miami's small size. I predict that the Pacers win Game 7 90-84
6 AnswersBasketball8 years agoWhat should the Celtics do this offseason?
Obviously, Rondo will be back and healthy, but what should they do with Pierce, will Garnett retire, and who should they draft? Here's what I would do.
1. Amnesty Pierce, he is getting older and it would clear $15 million dollars of cap space that the celtics could potentially use for free agents
2. See if KG retires or decides to stay, he's reportedly staying one more year.
3. Draft Gorgui Dieng at 16th in the Draft
4. Look to trade Bass and Courtney Lee for the best possible players
5. Go for a inside scoring center and a rebounder, maybe Al Jefferson, Nikola Pekovic.
This would be the starting lineup
PG: Rondo
SG: Bradley
SF: Green
PF: Sullinger or Free agent or if KG comes back
C: Al Jefferson or Pekovic
This team is in for rebuilding mode and they are years away from contending for a title again. What do you see the Celtics doing this offseason, give me your predictions.
1 AnswerBasketball8 years agoDo the Pacers have a chance in this series?
Imagine if Indiana had won game 1, they would be up 2-0. However, it's 1-1 going back to Indy for games 3 and 4 where the pacers are undefeated in the postseason. Obviously, the Heat are much better than the knicks or hawks, but I think this series has shifted in the Pacers favor. I would be worried if I were Miami, they were outplayed in 2 games on their home floor, lets see how they do on the road. Can the Pacers shock the world and eliminate Miami out the conference finals? I say Pacers in six games.
4 AnswersBasketball8 years agoCan the celtics beat okc tommorrow?
They have been playing great recently and 14-4 overall without Rondo. What will it take for them to beat the Thunder. I know Bradley can slow down Westbrook but who will stop Durant? Paul Pierce is too old and slow and can't contest his high release jumpshot. But I think Pierce can have a big game. and KG could have a big game too. And their bench has been playing great as of late. Can they get a win in OKC's arena?
