How to get rid of Error 1316 in Event log?
I keep getting this error in my Event Viewer. How do I get rid of this? Running Win 7 Premium 64 bit.
Tried the Microsoft "Fix it" which seemed to do nothing. And the "Event Log On-line help" doesn't go anywhere either.
I'm at my wits end to fix this error. Any ideas?
1 AnswerMSN8 years agoi7 3770 heat issues.?
Does anyone have any data or info on the i7 3770 (non k), and how hot it runs at idle/load?
I've been reading a lot about the i7 3770k getting hot really quickly when overclocking, but I haven't heard hardly anything about the non k version, and how it runs. Is it the same or similar to Sandy Bridge i7's at stocks speeds, or is it hotter?
I'm thinking about getting an i7 3770 (I'm not planning on overclocking), but not if its hard to keep cool.
1 AnswerDesktops9 years agoWhat is the best/coolest running brand of Radeon HD 6950 graphics card?
Looking to get the 2GB version of a 6950 card, but I have slight cooling issues in my case. Because of this - I am going with a dual fan configuration of the 6950. But there are three or four different ones with dual fans (XFX, Sapphire, and MSI). Which brand is the best- most reliable - and the coolest? Anyone know?
3 AnswersAdd-ons10 years agoVoltage too high on CPU?
I have a Dell XPS Studio 7100, with the AMD 6 core Phenom II 1090t CPU. Recently I changed out my PSU for a future graphics card upgrade, and this is where the problems started. The Corsair 650 watt PSU went in just fine, and my system runs great, maybe even smoother than before. However...
If I run a stat program like CPU-Z, it shows the V CORE voltage of my CPU is now WAY TOO HIGH like over 2 volts (it's supposed to be 1.1 or 1.2v). I've checked it on a couple of other programs as well including HW Monitor which gives the same result. 2 volts or more.
I am not overclocking, and this can't be good for the processor. I called Dell, AMD, and Corsair (the PSU maker), but they all tell me since my system is stable and not running hot (it's 35c right now under a little load), there is nothing they will do right now. They basically want me to wait til it fries the CPU or something else then call them.
The AMD tech support said he thinks the Dell mobo is "over-volting" the CPU so I should tell them. Dell says it's a Corsair problem, and I should call them. Corsair said since it's only the CPU and not anything else, It's either AMD's or Dell's issue. What a run around!
Any suggestions on how I can lower this voltage setting or is it false? Bios adjustments are not accessible on Dell's so I cant even look there to verify that its not a false reading. I'm stumped.
