  • Car overheating at low RPM's, possibly a bad pump?

My 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue overheats at low RPM's. Just cruising around, with the RPM's between 1 - 3, the motor will start to overheat and knock. When I floor it, or pop it in to neutral and raise the RPM's, the engine begins to cool off and go back to normal.

I thought it was because the thermostat was getting stuck and not opening all the way. So I replaced the thermostat and it's still overheating.

To me, that sounds like there isn't enough pressure in the cooling system. I haven't hooked up a pressure gauge to the reservoir, but there are no visible leaks.

I'm thinking this could be the water pump not putting out enough pressure. Any ideas?

  • My boa won't stop being aggressive, can't clean her cage, ideas?

For the past month or so, maybe 5 weeks, my boa has been very aggressive, even after feeding. Striking at the glass (sometimes multiple times when I'm examining her cage), " S " ing up at the head like she's gonna strike, and just generally aggressive. She's a very curious snake as well, and will investigate any noises near her cage. She has shed, and pooped, but I can't seem to get her to calm down so I can get in their and clean her cage. Most of all, I don't want her to get sick. Any ideas to calm her down, or best practices with an aggressive snake?

  • Is it ok for your partner to go places where you are not welcome?

Honestly, how would you feel if your partner went places you are not welcome at? Not like clubs or meetings for women only, but like to friends houses.

The idea upsets. I personally would never go to a friends house or any other place for that matter where my lover is not welcome. I believe that if your lover is not welcome than you have no place being there.

Am I out of line here? Is there something wrong with that?

Honestly, I think if I were to go places where she was not welcome that she would throw a fit.

If I am in the right here, what would be a good way to tell her that this upsets me in a big way? I'm feeling a little violated and left out.

  • How do you trust your girlfriend who works in the adult industry?

I've been dating this girl for about 6 months now. Before I got in to a relationship with her, I told her that I couldn't be in a relationship with someone who worked in the adult industry. So when it came to that point of entering in to a relationship with her, she said that she would quit, she's been wanting to quit, and it would be easy for her. For clarity, she is an escort. She claims that she just dances for her clients. Hard to believe for me - hard to trust. Shortly after she quit, she ran out of money, and was unable to find a normal job. So I agreed to let her work untill she got back on her feet, which turned in to a 4 month ordeal. Her lease ran out on her apartment, and I said she could move in with me. But I said she couldn't work anymore, and that I would be the sole provider untill she found suitable work. Financial troubles of my own arouse. I said she could work, but short term. Just enough to get the money we needed. She wants to continue working still. What can I do
