  • System Tools 2011 infection?

There seems to be a new infection doing the rounds. I have removed it from my clients PC's with malware bytes in safe mode. It writes all over you desktop, your infected, pop ups to remove or purchase, plus it will slow your PC to a crawl. Trend Micro Internet Security Pro doesn't pick it up, with definitions current. So notify your Anti Virus provider to get up to speed on it?

    Just a friendly warning.

  • Question for Gamers laptop v Desktop?

In my short time here I find people tend to say Laptop are better for gaming than a desktop? This defies logic as a laptop is compact, small CPU so as not to generate heat, limited to amount of RAM, running on Battery you have to sacrifice power to prolong batter life? In it's compactness it will generate heat but make it hard to dissipate heat.

A desktop on the other hand, can fit 6 120ml fans, larger PSU's, water cool or mineral oil cool, larger CPU's available, more space provided around component's for heat dissipation.

My limited IT experience, tells me there must be some reason but what apart from mobility?

    Thanks in Advance :-)
