In the last year or so, I have noticed that I can see my veins a lot easier. They look awful and I feel like I want to cover up all the time. The worst ones are a long one down the side of my calf, behind my knee and a long one that goes up my neck and over my chin - it always looks like I have a line of pen across my face.

They do not hurt and don t bulge out, so they are not varicose veins.

They aren t spider veins either - they re much larger and not a cluster, just like one long dark blue vein as if its really close to the surface of my skin.

Why would they suddenly be so visible like this? I think they are just visible superficial veins. I have put on a bit of weight recently but am still in the healthy weight range for my age of 22. I am also on the pill but have been for a few years so don t think it could be this.

Does anyone have any ideas? Or ideas on how to get rid of them? The one on my ace looks so awful I am so ashamed of it and make up doesnt cover it because it is so dark :( Could I get a vein removed on my neck/chin or not?

I had my first shift at my new job today and it was just awful. The entire day was so beyond chaotic, unorganised and hideous that I felt stressed out the entire day. I have worked in retail for 5 years so I essentially know what to do its just tweaking it to a new company, but the management team spoke to me like s*** all day. Every single thing I did wasn t right, I was constantly patronised and every single member told me to do different things at the same time so I was running around the store every 5 minutes, just to then be told off for not doing what the other told me. Repeat cycle for 8 hours.

It was one of a number of jobs I applied to and was the first one I was offered, so subsequently took it as I desperately need a job. However, I have been offered another better job that I much prefer and pays a lot better which I need for Uni.

How can I quit this job I am in now after 1 day and without notice so I can start immediately at the other job?

My brother has forgotten to write his letter of resignation so has left me to do it and bring to him after work.

I have found the name of his Store Manager, so do I address it to him? Or would it be addressed to HR? And if so, how do I go about finding out the name of the HR Manager?

My lecturer has asked us to prepare SOME of the differences between the two, implying there is more than one difference but i am unsure of more than one approach.

We've been broken up a year because he cheated, which I genuinely believe was a drunk mistaken that I've put down to problems in our relationship.

When he's drunk, he still phones me to say I love you, calls me all the old nicknames he used to and tells me that he'll never love anyone as much as he loved me. We've only had sex a couple of times since we broke up.

However, when he is sober he says that although he does still think of me, and will always have some feelings for me, he doesn't want a relationship. He said he doesn't want one at this point in his life, with anyone at all. He says that when he does want a relationship, it would be with me and no one else.

What the hell am I supposed to make of all of this? I really love him and want to be with him still.

Need to be adult fiction, and to have been published between 50s-70s, preferably with some kind of political allegory

I'm applying for work experience/internships with various publishing houses and was wondering if using colour was a good/bad idea, seeing as it is a creative industry.

I was thinking of tailoring the colours of my CV to that of the publishing house, or is that too cheesy/a bad idea?

I've had a large mole on my thigh ever since I was small (about 5 years old) and im now 21. It's a medium brown colour all the way through, has a tiny raised hair follicle in it and is symmetric but has ever so slightly blurred borders. These are mainly on the right hand side, but you don't notice that really unless you look at it fairly closely.

Other than than slight blurred edge, the only reason that I am worried is that is is 9.5mm long and about 5 mm wide (I think, my maths is appalling). However, I look at it often enough and I wouldn't say that I feel it has grown, it looks the same size as it always has done.

Should I be worried? I know I should go to the doctor and ask, but I get panicky even thinking about going there - my heart starts racing and my breathing quickens.

I'm currently doing a degree in English Literature and this is what I want to do for a career. I don't have any previous work experience in this field, the only work experience I do have is working in Clarks Shoes as a children s fitter and tutoring a dyslexic boy with his reading.

I need some ideas on how to make traditional fairy tales such as Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty ect. more modern - ie. make them relate to a social event today or something.
