  • Is switching to bass relatively easy from guitar?

    I recently picked up learning electric guitar at the beginning of summer and absolutely love it. however, recently bass has interested me a bit and i was wondering if switching from a 6-string electric guitar to a 4-string bass is a difficult task or not. (my main concern is the jump from a 25.5" scale to a 34" scale, in addition to heavier gauge strings). just to mention, i'm not exactly super at guitar yet either, so please take that to mind.

    also if anyone can suggest a good beginner/intermediate bass that would be great as well. i'm currently looking at this:
