  • Previous fan failure message after replacing the non working fan...don't know how to clear it?

So I replaced the power supply fan in our dell tower,

but now I keep getting this previous fan failure

message. All the fans seem to be in working order.

How can I keep this message from showing each

time the computer is booted up?

Thanks in advance for your time!

  • Can you give me any ideas what is wrong with my Dell?

    So the other day.....

I turn my computer on and everything loads. Turn on itunes listening

to some music while cleaning. All of a sudden the music just Stops.

Well the tower is still on, with a yellow light on the left hand side of the

power button and a green light on the right of it (it's a Dell), BUT the

computer screen and mouse are dead. The monitor won't come

back on and the red light on the mouse is off. The keyboard

light for the numbers lock is still on, but it won't do anything either.

The tower seems to still be up and running. I cut the power off

using the power button, and rebooted the computer. It boots up

normally, then does the same thing again. :(

    running windows xp

Any advice? I have no idea what is wrong with it......

  • How cold is too cold for giving horse a bath?

My horse has developed rain rot. It has been

incredibly wet here lately. I read online about

    how to cure this condition.

    My question is this....

It is chilly here so I am concerned about

bathing him in this cool weather. I don't want

to cure one issue and create another one in the

process. How cold is too cold for a horsey bath?

  • Horse/Equine hoof care...Horse won't walk across rocks or pavement?

    I have a 17hh Warm-blood. I didn't know much about the

background of my horse when I purchased him. He

needed a home and is a very sweet horse. He has

never offered to buck or "crow hop".

I do not like to have him on the pavement

(but do have to cross roads at times). He doesn't

wear shoes per the recommendation of 2 seperate

farriers. When we do come to some gravel or

pavement, he acts up he wants to turn away and

not go across. Once he is on the pavement he is

fine. He is a little hard headed at times, but I am

not afraid to make him do what I am asking. Even

if it means making him walk in circles until he

does what I am asking, which is what I have to do

when we come to a road. I have started working

with him on natural horsemanship to obtain a

better relationship between him and myself.

All the detail here is to get to the point....

    My question is:

Should I consider this behavioral or should I consider

that possibly he needs shoeing despite the

    recommendation of the farriers?

This is not his only issue, he also doesn't want to

leave his pasture mate. I am working on that little

by little, but this is an obstacle we come to each

time we ride and makes him harder to break from

his "buddy sourness". (The road must be crossed

to get to the open riding area or trails.) I am a

pretty much a beginner, as I haven't ridden in quite

sometime. I don't know alot of horse people, with

the exception of my neighbor, I don't know any.

I am definately new to being a horse

owner....please go easy on me. lol

before you plant the flowerbed or garden.

I am wondering if that is true and what the

  • GI Bill won't pay after only 5 1/2 yrs out....Why??

My husband was told that after being out of the National Guard for only 5 - 1/2 yrs that he was no longer able to use the GI Bill -- that it had expired for him. What happened to the whole 10 year thing?

Could there have been different rules in the late 90's when he

    signed up?

I am wondering how I can find out why this has happened. From everything that I have read he should have had 10 years from the date he was out. Do they consider the years that he served in the guard part of those 10 years? He was honorably discharged in Nov. of 2002.

He paid for the GI Bill and now he has been told that it is not his to use.

He as you can imagine is very disappointed.

  • Need to know what kind of duckling I have???

I thought that these might be pekin ducks. One stood out to me so I snatched it up (too cute)....It is different though.

    Only in it's coloring.

It has a black beak, black web feet, and some black baby feathering (the rest is the traditional yellow). The second one is "normal" colored orange feet and beak, and bright yellow.

  • My pecans smaller limbs are falling off--What could it be?

Our pecan tree is dropping branches and it almost looks like they were cut off. They are small limbs about 1/4 inch. I cannot see anything on the tree, but that of course doesn't mean there is not some pest doing this. It has been really dry here, and I am unsure if that would do this anyway. They look like they have been sawed and then the very center broke. Anyone have any ideas as to what could cause this??

  • I need to edit a music track?

I need to take off the beginning of a song (the instrumental part) so that when it starts up the vocals come up immediately. Does anyone know how to do this? Or where I could do it for free?

Or maybe if I send you the track you would do it for me? Maybe just a good deed kind of thing.

    Thanks in advace!
