My aunt just died unexpectedly recently. How do you get through the next few months?

My boyfriend saw that I had a poster of a cat on my wall and many other items around my apartment that are cats. So, since we have been dating for six months, he thought it would be excellent to surprise me with a cat.

I like photos of cats. I like statues of cats. I even like stuffed animals that are cats. But, honestly, I don't want this cat. It keeps following me around. I can't hide from it. I'll be sitting on the couch and there it is... staring at me meowing. The cat and I are not a purrfect pair.

He's a great boyfriend. I swear I like him, but this cat issue is pretty annoying.

Should I dump him? Lose the cat and say he got stolen? Give the cat to a homeless guy? I don't know if I can get used to it. I don't want to have an honest discussion with him about the cat. He likes it. I don't understand why he can't keep the cat. Can I regift?

I'm really excited about it. After watching a lot of movies, I know exactly how first dates work. The only problem is, a lot of times someone says something that sounds completely normal, and the other person takes it the wrong way, ruining the date. I really don't want this to happen to me. What should I absolutely not say no matter what to make sure I have a positive first date experience?

He's nerdy and likes chess and video games. I'm more of a music and food lover.

He likes pasta and pizza. I really want to wow him. No allergies.

I am looking for something cute to say to a nerdy guy I like. He is sooooo funny and I want to impress him with my humor and BE CUTE. I don't want to seem too desperate or too forward with what I want.

When I was in a public place, he yelled out that I need to get a life. I don't talk to him anymore. Is this an (immature) way to try to get my attention so I talk to him? (I am just curious.)
