As a university student I'm required to read a lot of textbooks and most of the books contains complex terminologies and explanations. Whenever I read the books, I often ended up not being able to retain the information that I just read and I will regress by reading it again and again and it's not very efficient.

After a while I don't feel that reading textbooks are rewarding anymore and that really showed when my exam results are going downward.

Any tips so that I will be able to remember more whenever I read the thick textbooks with all those convoluted details?

i need a recommendation here guys. i thought of getting a gtx570 and i think i can spend some extra for the overclocked type of cards.

of course i prefer the card with the best price/performance ratio. or should i just stick to the reference card. any ideas?

For a PC desktop configuration, is it ok if I use memory RAM modules of different brands? What if the speed of the RAM modules are not the same? Will there be any performance difference?

(let's assume that all the RAM are DDR3)
