I'm an Anglo-Catholic priest, former chaplain (hospital/hospice, Navy & Marine Corps, police, fire and EMS), certified as a thanatologist (death, dying and bereavement) and in traumatic stress. I've lived in nine countries, with a pre-seminary background as a newspaperman, former Peace Corps volunteer,and as a paramedic. My BA is in International Relations, my Master's in Divinity (seminary), and I've a doctorate in chaplaincy. Disabled and thus retired, I am now volunteering for the Igreja Lusitana, the small branch of the Anglican Communion in Portugal, where I celebrate the Mass and preach in Portuguese every week.
