I assure you that I am NOT anorexic in fact I so want to gain at least 20 pounds. I am 36 years old, 5'6" 120 and I hate it!!! I cant find any kinda disorder related to it so maybe I am a scientific first. Anyone ever heard of such a thing and if so..how do I fix it bcus im starving but everything tastes horrible! (sigh!) and I am beginning to look like a skeleton! HELP!!

does this mean that there will be another emergency unemployment extension?

My son is 19 months old and I can't get him to consistently eat food. He prefers warmed Vitamin D milk 3 to 4 times a day. His weight is fine, he is very healthy and happy and I give him vitamin supplements. Should I cut back on the milk and "force" him to eat food..or should I consider it a phase and leave it be?

My now 19 month old son grinds his teeth often while sleeping. Is this normal? if so why? if not..what is the remedy?

I am dating a guy that is 14 years my junior. I am so in love with him. We share so many great moments and its not all about sex. He is a responsible man, a provider, and a true friend. My son LOVES him and he is such a great role model for my son......SO, why do I feel like this is wrong? Everyday I wonder if the age difference is taboo.... I want to let go and LOVE him deeply, but I have reservations. What do you think. serious replies please. Thanks

I am 34 years old with a 15month old healthy, VERY active, beautiful baby boy! I want to do this one more time! am nuts? Could I be too old? I absolutely love being a mommy and I always wanted two children.

My 13 month old throws terrible temper tantrums and he hits. He screams so loud that I often leave stores to escape embarrasment. He is otherwise a sweet little boy but when he doesnt get his way, he goes off. Has anyone experienced this with a child this young and if so, what did you do and how long did it last?. It is becoming too often and I am not sure of what to do. I do believe in dicipline but I am not convinced that he is old enough to understand time out or a spanking. I am ready to knock him in the dirt (just an expression :) ) but I refrain. Advice?

My one year old is sucking his thumb..now more than ever. At first it was a night time thing that would help him soothe himself to sleep. Now, he is doing it more often during the day! I don't want him to ruin his gum line, but he flips out when I take it out of his mouth. What has worked for you?

I have a friend that seems to be smitten with me. He is all that I prayed for except no matter what angle I catch him from, I am so not attracted to him. I don't want to hurt him but it seems that he is making plans for "our" future. I fear that if I don't tell him now, it will only hurt him more later. BUT! how do you tell a man that you are not physically attracted to him without devastating his ego? He includes me and my son in ALL of his plans, yet I keep canceling on him. He just won't give up!Can we remain friends? or should I end this situation all together? Men please answer too!!!

My 6 month old cut his first tooth this week, but he is a thumb sucker!. He has made a little "cut" on the bottom of his thumb. How can I prevent this from getting worse aside from weaning him from his thumb. His physician tells me not to stop his thumb sucking yet. Has anyone experienced this? what can be done? Will his thumb get infected?

At what age is a baby no longer at risk for SIDS?

I have a 4 month old and I am eager to do it again!! has anybody experienced this so soon? I am 33 and it is almost like the feeling of my biological clock ticking. The desire to become pregnant is greater than before and I tried for 10 years for the first one.

My son has had a head cold now for three days and its not getting better. It is not a really bad cold, but he has mucus build up in his nasal cavity and suction is not helping him. What else can I do?

I feed him Enfamil Lipil lactose free. I havent changed his formula but all of a sudden he is passing hard stools everyday. What can I do?
