I have looked online, but I can't seem to find an answer. I am a teacher at an after-school program in a low-income area. Just last week, in February, a student there (somewhat of a little trouble maker!) sat with me in our computer lab, and the topic of the North Pole came up. He told me that he loved Santa, but that Santa didn't bring him presents this year and he didn't know why. His family had come from Sudan, and he has 5 siblings, and only a mother and uncle living in his small house. He told me that he wanted to write a letter to Santa, and so he and I wrote the letter together. In his letter, he asked Santa to help the polar bears who are drowning in the North Pole (so sweet!), and he also asked for a motor bike. He said, "I can't wait to tell my mom that I wrote to Santa and that maybe he will come this year! Maybe that's why he didn't come last time, because I didn't write and ask." I told him that I would mail the letter. I want to write a letter from Santa back to him, but what should I say? I know that his family can't afford a motorized bike. Any suggestions would be great. I live very close to the USA, and most of my media is American. I want to stay informed on what our new government is doing - especially with a new majority government. I bought the original Sims a while ago - at least 10 years ago. I recently installed it on my new computer. I registered all of my serial codes (on the back of the CD case) back ten years ago, and I don't remember my user name, password, or the email address that I had back then. I cannot re-register these codes under a new user name, because "they are all in use" since I registered them before. I would like to take advantage of the things that I can download online - can someone please help me out with an unregistered serial code? Thank you!

I am writing a memorandum for a university course. I need to cite the information that I am speaking about. The auto industry was recently bailed out in both Canada (20% of the U.S, proposal) and the U.S. Is there a database where I can get this information to cite in my memorandum? It is not acceptable to use newspaper or news sources.

Okay, so in One Tree Hill's last episode, it was "Three Years Earlier"... Lucas was using an iPhone (advertising, ughh!). Obviously this is new technology. But seriously, what year is it on the show? Is it 2008 now?? Or what it 2007 when they graduated high school, and now it's 2011? Does anyone know??

I straighten my long hair, and it gets thick and puffy when it's humid. I used professional salon products like shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in, but I am looking for a professional product that will work to combat this humidity issue. I put so much work into making my hair look great, and when I step out of the house on a humid day, it's only a matter of time before it begins to lose it's straightness. Cost is not an issue, because I do believe that this type of product is a necessity for people who straighten their hair.

I'm looking for professional salon products that aren't too pricy, but also get the job done.

So I'm an idiot... I'm 19, I don't bake, but I thought I'd try to make a chocolate cake. Problem: I poured too much into the pan, and now it has overflown into my oven. I cleaned it out with a rag and water, and I tried to preheat it again. After I pre-heat it, I opened it, and the whole oven was smokey still. I turned it off, and now, here I am. I need to clean it before 1:00 (when my mom comes home, dunn dunn dunnn!!)

I don't think I have any oven cleaner or anything.

My boyfriend HATES mayonnaise, and I am looking to trick him by using the old Hellman's recipe with mayonnaise in the cake mix. The mayonnaise is supposed to make the cake more moist. I know that you cannot taste the mayonnaise in the batter, but that fact that it's in the cake will totally make my boyfriend gag. ;-)

So, I have a two part question:

Has anyone ever tried this recipe?

And:

If so, is light mayonnaise appropriate to use, as well? I read that it is, but that the cake ended up to be very "gummy in texture".

I had my hair stylist colour my natural golden-brown hair with sun-kissed blonde highlights a couple of months ago. I have since used "Natural Instincts" to enhance the colour (that is a natural, wash-out colour). Now, I want to go blonde for the summer. It works with my skin tone, as I have tried on blonde on online simulators. I have never dyed my hair at home, and I bought some "Loreal Superior Preference". Is this a good product to use for first-time colourers? Or should I try something else?

I accidentally drove through a large parking lot with my parking brake on, and I didn't hear my car beeping at me because I had the stereo on. My car is about 9 months old, and is a Chevrolet Cobalt LS. How will this affect my brakes?
