  • can I get dsl with no phone service ?

    I disconnected my landline over 3 years ago because it was cheaper to go cellular and I was out of the house 75% of the time. I been using cable as my internet connection but now dsl is cheaper so is it possible to get dsl service if you don't have landline service anymore? The local service is SBC in my area.

  • cycling equivalent to walking?

    Okay, I just got one of those pedometer and I am suppose to get 10,000 steps per day. I for one, don't care for the walking and the stress on the knees and hips but what is the equivalent of 10,000 steps on a stationary bike or a real bike? Is it around 5 miles?

  • What is the best synthetic car wax?

    I have heard that synthetic wax last more longer and is much more harder than carnauba wax. Also carnauba wax tends to disappear in hot weather. Is this true? I don't want to spend my life waxing to get a whole year of shine. Thanks.

  • NBC "The Biggest Loser" question???

    Okay, for the last three season, this has bothered me. When the guys go up to be weighed they all take off their t-shirts. How can one t-shirt affect the outcome of their weight? It only weighs 8 ounces or so. I don't see the women take anything off. Does this bother anyone else?
