  • Red River canoe trip?

I'm planning a long canoe trip down the Red River. I'm wanting to put in at the Texoma dam near Dension, TX, and I'm planning on taking out in Alexandria, LA.

I have not been able to find much information on the river between Bonham, TX and Shreveport, LA. The rest of the river seems to be navigable. Anyone have experience with the other parts of this river?

    Thanks

  • What is the ideal size for a walk-in closet?

We're doing some remodeling and want to put in a walk-in closet. We should be able to go about 9'-10' deep, and maybe 3' wide. The door will be on the end. Any inputs? Think this will be wide enough? I want to make sure it is useful, and not too crowded trying to get in there. Thanks!

  • Should I buy an Acura Legend with 250,000 miles?

This car has 250,000 miles, but it seems to run alright. The body is straight but needs paint. The interior is trashed. The guy is asking less than $1000 for it. I figured that if I can get him down to $750 it would be a decent purchase. Thoughts?

  • Pelican canoe missing a part?

I bought a used Pelican Navigator canoe. I'm pretty sure it's missing a piece. Is there supposed to be a bar that goes from the cross bar in the center of the boat down to the floor? If anyone has a good picture of inside the boat that would be cool. Thanks!

  • Dodge Neon is smoking, need help?

My 2000 Neon is smoking from the exhaust after start-up. It's white/gray smoke. It's not condensation, it happens any time of the day. It is not losing any oil or water.

The dealer looked at it and said there were no codes, and they didn't see smoke, so they said it's fine.

Oh, and it seems to be running fine, so this one has me perplexed. Any ideas?

  • What kind of donkey to use for work?

I think I need some donkeys to pull my firewood. I'm talking about pulling cut logs, 5-8' long, and up to 2' in diameter. It is in a heavily wooded area, where I can't get a vehicle. What kind of donkey do I need?
