No recive, checked speker, no resitance, i think there is no voltage to speaker when radio is on. Transmit is fine. Hooked headphones to ext cb, white noise comes out, but no other sound. The white noise, however, is very quiet. volume control or squelch does nothing to volume in headphones. Does not make a distinctive click when switching channels. The model is a Midland 13-857 made in 1975

Ive checked ebay, local cart shops, and online stores, and i cannoto find any USED 1" bore centrfugal clutchs to use on my go cart with a 8hup tecumseh. If somebody has one, or knows a source to find USED ones for cheap or noting, that would be most appreciated!!

like a audio fm/am radio (with a grounding strip), does a cb need to be grounded with the mounting strap on the radio?? I haver all my antenna (magnetic mount), power leads, and mic connected, yet i get no reseption, not even atmospheric noise (i should be expecting a continual hiss, right?? )

i was wiring up my cb radio so i can quick connect/disconnect it by soldering the leads to a cigarette lighter connector. after testing it, i found i blew the radio's fuse. I was wondering if the polarity was the wrong way. the black (-) was at the button in the center, and the red (+) was onb the side spring
