My hubby is VERY loyal. He has a younger school age child by his first marriage and I feel like he coddles his ex wife. I can also see where he doesnt do it on purpose but I feel like she does things purposely to make me feel like a third wheel. She is in a stable relationship as well with another man. I would be able to just say we wont deal with her at all but because of the child I cant do that. I think she is doing a sorry job of raising the child, the child as asked to come live with us but will not tell her mother about it. How do I 'Step-parent" a child I love as my own and not distance myself from her? Also my husband and I have had HUGE fights over the ex, because of some issues that happened before the marriage he feels like he owes her to be considerate. But I think he is going over board, however, that maybe because I cant stand the woman. I do love my husband and his child VERY MUCH but how do I deal with this horrible person?
