  • What song is this?

My step-daughter came home from her dads and was singing the lyrics "Kiss Me, Kiss me; Dirty, Dirty. I'm not sure if it's rap or what, but her mother and I want to know for future reference against the dad.

  • Teaching time to a 6yr old....?

During the day I take care of my 6yr old step-daughter while mom works. The father, on his days, pawns the kid off on to others while he has to "work". My step-daughter was accepted into a gifted school program, but doesn't know basics; ie: street smarts such as telling basic time like 5 oclock 6, 7 and so on. I knownot to confuse her with 5:55 or 12:30. Is it normal for a 6yr old to not know the basics? I've tried a clock so she can move the hands around. When I ask her to tell me the time on the clock she gets it right, but when you tell her to move the hands to 5 o clock and so on she says it's 100 oclock. She knows her #'s and writes them proficiently. I'm just tired of her getting in trouble over what I consider basic knowledge. What do I do so mom is in a better mood when she gets home?

  • Help!! I have a 6yr old stepdaughter who....?

My six year old step-daughter is genuinely a good kid, but her mother and I are having problems with her. She is on the honor roll, perfect attendence, and was accepted into an excelerated gifted school program for summer. Other parents say she is a dream boat, but at home she has the sassiest mouth, argues with both of us and is rough with my 18 month old daughter. She throws major tantrums which involves breaking and destruction of property; hers and ours! Is this normal, because my wife and I often argue about stupid stuff, when we both know we are upset at my wifes daughter.
