  • My PC won't completely boot...?

So, our house's main desktop computer has been working normally for the few years we've owned it until one day, when it decides to power on with the CPU fan spinning much faster than normal and the computer itself not booting at all. Its hard drive, DVD drive, GPU, CPU, and PSU are all working, but the computer won't display anything on the LCD monitor used with it. I've tried using a different power supply, removing my graphics card and using the motherboard's built-in video processor, removing the hard drive, removing and reinstalling the CMOS battery, and Googling for solutions to this problem. All I can think of doing is getting another motherboard. This is driving me insane and I'm about to lose it! Can someone please help..?

PS: My PC is a Gateway GT5464 Personal Computer with an Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2140 CPU, 1GB of ram, 320GB HDD, and Windows Vista Home Premium installed as its operating system. I bought a spare video card (PNY XLR8 8800GT) and power supply (Thermaltake Purepower 500W) in order to give the PC a graphical enhancement.

  • Any Nsiders out there with a Yahoo Answers account?

Hello. This isn't exactly a SERIOUS question, but I want to know if ANY Nsiders out there are Yahoo Answerers. I personally know one person who has (dinsfire15) and just want to try and regroup.

P.S. I am NOT an Nsider, but I just want to regroup.

  • Xbox 360 Help!!!?

Okay. I ,finally, bought my Xbox 360 about a week ago (the NEW Holiday Bundle), and I looked on the back to see if it had either Falcon, or Zephyr. When I looked, it didn't say WHICH one!!! All it said was the hardware, and everything that came with it, but NO motherboard. My question is, where do I have to look to know which motherboard I have? BTW. The shipping date is 8/16/07, the lot no. is 733, and the team is FDOU, so I DON'T think I'll have the Falcon anyway.

  • Downloading M.E.S.S. Help (Vista)?

Alright. I have a Gateway Desktop with Windows Vista Home Premium and am trying to download the M.E.S.S.

Emulator. But every time I click on the zip. file icon the downloading folder pops up and thinks I'm downloading it as a "Paint" or "Microsoft Word" file. This happens every time I try to download other emulators, as well.

  • The disc, or my PS2?

I've had my "Gameshark: Broadband Enabled" disc for about about more than a year, and now my PS2 can't read it. I thought the disc was the problem because if you looked at the blank side all you could see were tiny scratches everywhere. So I tried the toothpaste trick 2 TIMES, but my PS2 still can't read it. Is the disc the problem, or is my console just going nutty?
